NFL bars non-team media from locker rooms for the reg season

I wonder if all of the major sports move in this direction if given the opportunity. I'm sure the players would love not to have to deal with being surrounded by media at their lockers after a tough game, and (the argument will go) reporters still get access to the team -- just not in the locker room.

That's the one place all players are guaranteed to be. Other than on the field. If you mean having an area where a few players can requested depending on what happened in the game, I totally agree that would be a lot better.
