Nexus 7 to a TV

I need to be able to have a presentation on my Nexus 7 be displayed onto a television / monitor. I will not have wifi where I need to do this and would like to think that some sort of cable will make it all happen.

I have seen something by a company called SlimPort but am not entirely sure this will work for me.

Any suggestions?

I have no experience with this but it seems that a Nexus 7 had Bluetooth capability. So maybe something like this:

SlimPort's a standard, not a company. A Slimport HDMI cable should work (I assume you have the 2013 Nexus 7?). Example:

Thanks for the name correction. I do have the 2013 version. I'll give that a shot. While the Bluetooth option is nice I need this to be extremely simple.
