Vasilevskiy looked in slow motion there and Martin still went oppo upper corner against his motion.

Now the super delayed offsides

Things learned:

Martin is married to Boomer Esiason's daughter (Sydney)
And Gunnar, Boomer's son, has CF and is a huge advocate for CF research and support. Props to Gunnar

That finish really made me miss Doc. Kenny just doesn’t have the ability to hit the high note.

Also let’s not bury the fact that McD legit pulled off a Savard in the closing seconds as a defenseman. A miracle stop was the only thing that prevented that.

Well, I was very wrong.

Vegas didn't play very well for most of the game, but Lehner kept it close and Price let in a bad goal to McNabb, then a quick strike in OT by Roy again.

All together now: "In the Bruins 2011 glorious Cup run, Michael Ryder made a similar glove save against the Habs in game 5 of the first round to help the Bruins take a 3-2 series lead they wouldn't relinquish."

Saw on twitter that the Habs packed it in so hard that Vegas didn't get their first high danger chance until Roy got the puck in front of Price in OT and he buried it. I hope the real Knights show up tomorrow because I can't handle the habs with a chance to win the cup.

The top six guys need to get going. They've done absolutely nothing all series.

Not to mention the Habs roll 4 lines as deep as anybody right now. Heck, you could argue their fourth line last night was the best line on the ice. Corey Perry has a knack of creating scoring chances out of nothing, and Armia complements his style really well. Not really sure about Staal, he tends to rush with the puck a little bit and isn't quite as crafty as Perry in this stage of his career, but he helps keep the puck down low which is crucial for that line's success. VGK hasn't figured out an answer for them yet.

That Islanders fan at the viewing party is having a bad night; hopefully he left the price tag on that sweater so he can return it to the pro shop after the game.

Yup, five minute major for a cross check to the face.

Funny; he did that to a Bruins player in the previous round and didn't even draw a penalty.

Weird that.
And let's not forget the Palmieri elbow to Charlie's face which was as bad if not worse -- and very obvious. And he got...crickets...

I honestly think I would rather the Habs win than Tampa at this point. And that makes me sick to my stomach.

Just quoting this for posterity - love ya but please seek help for this.

Tampa could spend to $150m over the cap, trade for Tom Wilson and Jordan Binnington, bring Matt Cooke out of retirement, and hire Bobby Hull as their Director of DEI - and I'd still rather they win 50 straight Cups than have Montreal win.

The Islanders fans in my life made me enjoy Tampa, a team I hate, stomping them like that too much. I may never forgive them.

Also - Mat Barzal is getting a lot of accolades this post season. Is it just me or as he outed himself as a divey, yappy, dirty, cowardly POS? I feel like thats the 8th after the whistle cross check up high and he finally got called and then after he rushed to hide behind the official.
