TJ McConnell might be earning himself another deal after next year with his play in these playoffs.
The whiplash I will suffer going from loving TJ McConnell to despising him if we face Indiana in the ECF. But I don't think we will - I think the MSG crowd is going to lift the Knickerbockers in 7.

If the Cs can rally back and overcome the odds to win their series and they face Indiana, McConnell instantly makes the most annoying short list (I meant to do that) along with about 99% of the rest of the Pacer rotation. Nesmith spazzing out is very amusing though.

If that’s a flagrant foul the way personal fouls have been let go I don’t know what I would think.

EDIT: There is hope for humanity.

For the record, I'm more than ready to hate DeVicenzo as well.

That's not a foul when Bam does it, FWIW.

Burks and Hartenstein should get Ts. You can't do that after the whistle, even with a hard four preceding

In the current NBA, nobody is truly Potter Stewart when it comes to fouls. But some of what we are seeing is clearly obscene.

This game is getting chippy, I can see someone, possible Nesmith, totally losing his cool at some point.

There's teams where the whole feels like the sum of the parts - like Phoenix.

I just can't shake the feeling that Siakam, who is a good to very good player, is the player version of that. He seems to have a really strong set of skills, and he plays reasonably hard, yet I'm usually left wanting...

Nembhard still on Brunson in G5 is borderline criminal. This should have ended in G2.
How is it that everyone on Earth knows Nembhard can't cover Brunson except the guy who gets paid millions to know Nembhard can't guard Brunson?

It's not even criminal anymore. It's comical.

Weird time to get Brunson a blow w 6 to go in the half jaut before halftime….unless he felt something in his foot. I’ll bet he comes right back after this timeout. He really needs to go close to 48 for NY to have a chance with the Knicks offense so discombobulated without him.

Edit: Brunson back

Weird post to make while the Pacers have been cratering for the entire 2nd q. Nothing going right for them on offense or defense.

Offense definitely craters without Brunson, but he's not the only one scoring right now.

Instead of having Nembhard guard Brunson, Carlisle should just not have anyone guard him. Maybe Brunson might miss a shot being so open - he's certainly not missing against Nembhard.

Pacers defense is awful. And their offense isn't what it should be, especially against a patchwork Knicks lineup.

While Brunson and Hart are used to playing 45 minutes, McBride and Hartenstein are not---we'll see if Pacers have a run in them in second half or not
