FTR, there was more contact on that last play than there was in the PC/Villanova game that resulted in PC getting bounced from the tournament.  Unlike the PC game, the refs rightly swallowed the whistle here.  Good no call.

I thought the Ohio State got fouled on their last possession.  I would have called them both.  Foul's a foul.

Holy shit, the dude was like Rudy on the intro theme to The Cosby Show with the foot shuffling. A ridiculous non-call.

EDIT - Might as well throw Tempestt Bledsoe in there as well (0:37 mark):

Almost game time for my Lumberjacks. Sad I couldn't make it to Portland. As Coach Underwood says, time to dream bigger.

And this has been on a loop all day in my head.

such a flop. If he were in the NBA he'd be getting a fedex.

Is it just me, or is the quality of basketball EVERYWHERE in the tournament so far pretty horrendous?
The Zona game was the only decently played one I saw.

I don't know. To me you can easily fault the guy that grabbed ball on way down while it was above rim.
I can't fault the SMU player at all there. He's in a terribly difficult spot of deflecting a ball which at game speed appears to be off target while having one of the PAC-10's leading rebounders in Looney lay it in ala Lorenzo Charles.

Nova just barely overcomes the Around the Horn prediction that they'd be the 1st #1 to lose to a #16. Cats squeak by 93-52.

Edit: Big East 3-0, Big 12 0-3. Suck it, Gottilieb.

How UNC has allowed Harvard to stay in this game is unconscionable. Just missed a layup on a fast break and an open basket.

Absolutely. They are dominating the game in so many ways but playing so sloppy, too.

Jesus, UNC gets a 1 and 1 on a suspect foul.  They miss the basket, but foul over the back on the rebound. And now Harvard gets a 1 and 1 and makes both baskets to make it a 3 point game.

Unbelieveable sequence

Cincy bad shot selection, Purdue gets rebound, tries an outlet pass picked off by Cincy and then they miss a layup.

UNC must have team bets against themselves. Turnover by a guy who just tried to pass it through 3 people.  And then on the next possession travels. On the other end fouls Harvard player driving.  Harvard with a chance to make this a 1 point game.

I fully expect Harvard to not score for the final 90 seconds after going up by 1 at some point to lose the game.  But damn UNC is letting them hang around.

We say this every year. Really, the tourney is just amazing every year.

Not true. There have been some pretty poor Thursdays in the past 5 years. Today has been awesome. Many close games. Lots of upsets. Ivy league schools.
