Yeah, I've got them too. Mostly because I wasn't really sold on SMU.

Me. Seems like every year there is a team that gets ripped as shouldn't have made it who then plays well.

I picked Texas as that team and have SMU in the Sweet 16. Oops.

Phew, another time out.  I hate when they squeeze more than five minutes of basketball into a ten minute block of time.

Texas, favored as the 11, puts up another poor performance in the NCAA tourney. Butler's best player is crippled and Texas just shrunk.

How Rick Barnes still has that job is just completely beyond my comprehension.

Great win for Butler.

Kind of fitting.  One team that has done more with less in the NCAA touranment in recent times than probably any other beats a team that seems to take a dump on a regular basis if they don't play in the state of Texas.

So glad P5 schools like UCLA and Texas were given bids over mid-majors.

Good job, good effort, Big 12. Just a superb showing. Three teams out in a three-hour span.

The unified thoughts of every Texas fan on the planet.

Truth is, they usually live up to their seed and lose where they seed suggests they should.  When they've been a 2, they lose in the elite 8.  When they were a 1, they made the final four.  Most other years, they linger in the 4-11 range, and usually win a game or two when they are higher.

The problem is they never overachieve, like ever.  Still, seven sweet sixteens, a few elite eights, and a final four -- probably just good enough for a football school.

Duke fans were so pissed when we didn't get Tony Parker.

Disaster averted.

Oh my God, so many chokejobs. SMU is just completely unraveling in the final minute.

SMU and Baylor must be drinking from the same water supply. The Mustangs about to replicate the Bears' gag job.

In fairness, though, UCLA has done a fair amount of gagging this one up themselves.  This game is a race to the bottom.

Rules are rules. When ANY PART of the ball is ANYWHERE ABOVE the cylinder and on the way down, it cannot be touched by anyone.

Yep, that would have grazed the rim.

If you let all but the most flagrant fouls go in the final seconds, don't you have to let that go?

ANYWHERE ABOVE the cylinder

It was going to hit the rim, but I'm not convinced he contacted it above the cylinder. I think it was going to hit the rim directly, not from above. I'm not positive of the rule on that.

I don't disagree with the ruling. I would just be livid at that result.

Four schools from Texas have played today. All have lost.

Will Stephen F. Austin buck the trend?

It was clearly over the rim. The app isn't letting me post pic though. Give me a few.
