Ok, so in case you're wondering and you want to bet and make money, I'm rooting for Mich St, Wichita, Oklahoma, Gonzaga, Wisconsin, Maryland, and N. Iowa. So bet the opposite on the money line and you're pretty much guaranteed to make money.

Some tough picks today for a survivor pool.  Especially if you don't want to take any of the high seeds.  Oklahoma seems a natural pick, but Dayton scares me.

This looks to be a really good slate of games. Out of Virginia/Kansas/Gonzaga/Wisconsin, I think 2 of them are going to be eliminated today.  If I had to pick two, I would say Virginia and Kansas lose.

When the pairings came out it looked like UVa got screwed, but now MSU may be the toughest game between them and the Final Four.

And it's looking very tough for VA right now. Mich St scoring at will.

"Pete, I have to be completely honest because your legacy is at stake here, as is our reputation as a band. This album, well, it sucks, Pete. What are we doing here?"

"Roger, take the long view. In 30 years GMC is going to pull up an SUV full of cash so they can use Eminence Front in their commercials."

"But it's a song about cocaine addiction, Pete. How will it sell cars?"

"Trust me, Rog, trust me."

"Ok. But what the fuck is an SUV?"

This is well done.

Everyone thought the East could end up as the screwy region and we could have both the one and two seeds gone after the first weekend. Who becomes the favorite if this holds up? UNI? Louisville? OU? Sparty? Wow

Izzo is really good in the third round -- like 8-4 or something. Give him a few days to prepare and I like his chances to get to the regional final.

UVA's offense is horrendous so far.
Boy do they miss Joe Harris or what.

This game for UVA is like going to a safety for undergrad, outworking everyone to get into a top flight grad school and finding out you can't, at the next level, outwork the opposition (Michigan State is one of the few teams you're just not going to outwork), as well as facing grade deflation.

I love seeing emotion from Izzo

He's had a tough year. Tougher than normal and he really turned it around. I guess that is where the emotion is coming from. Dude knows what he's doing.

UVA was fine until Justin Anderson turned into Typhoid Mary and couldn't stay healthy.

Seriously. Studio banter is the very worst thing on earth, then add a celebrity and you descend into hell.

I'd rather watch a Jack Welch/Lenny Clarke/Sam Horn Red Sox pregame show marathon on NESN than listen to Spike Lee & Charles Barkley chat for 10 minutes about how awesome it was to film a bunch of shitty commercials together -- and then be shown said shitty commercials.

San Diego State suffering from the flu a la the 06 Patriots.  Expect a 20 point blowout for Duke.

And it's the stomach flu to boot; about time poor Duke caught a break, they never get an easy path to the final four.

Too bad this is an early game so there's no other games to change to.

Playing like this, Duke can have a shot at taking UK down.
You probably didn't mean it like this, but that kind of short sells Duke IMO. If Duke plays like this UK couldn't beat them, nor could any other team out there.

Duke is a terrible matchup for SDSU so it's not surprising they are beating them but they are playing really well.  And no, I'm not selling Duke short.  They'd have to play like this to have a shot plus staying out of foul trouble because they are not nearly as deep as the Wildcats.

Duke has these lapses every game. Prevents them from truly being great

Every team has a lapse in every game. It's how you respond. And Duke seems to respond pretty well.
