Good idea starting today with MACTuesday back.

Also the first College Football Playoff rankings were revealed tonight. They are entirely irrelevant at this moment but hey whatever:

4. Texas A&M (7-1)
5. Washington Huskies (8-0)
6. Ohio State Buckeyes (7-1)
7. Louisville Cardinals (7-1)
8. Wisconsin Badgers (6-2)
9. Auburn Tigers (6-2)
10. Nebraska Cornhuskers (7-1)
11. Florida Gators (6-1)
12. Penn State Nittany Lions (6-2)
13. LSU Tigers (5-2)
14. Oklahoma Sooners (6-2)
15. Colorado Buffaloes (6-2)
16. Utah Utes (7-2)
17. Baylor Bears (6-1)
18. Oklahoma State Cowboys (6-2)
19. Virginia Tech Hokies (6-2)
20. West Virginia Mountaineers (6-1)

I think OU vs ISU on thursday night is a sign that either the big 12 dies or all their games will be played on Thursday.
ISU has played Thursday games for a while. They played Texas on a Thursday either last year or the year before. For a program like that Thursday games are a good thing, they're not going to get any exposure on Saturday. Now if Texas and Oklahoma are playing each other on a Thursday night then we have problems.

Edit: There are only two B12 Thursday games on the schedule for this year. Last night's game and the Texas Tech/Kansas game from earlier this year. Hardly all of the games.

The 718
These UConn uniforms are hideous.

Losing 21-0 to Trmple at home but UConn safety just made a nice pick to save another Temple TD.

Lamar Jackson might be the best college player I've ever seen, making Boston College look like ten year olds currently. 150 yards of offense and 2 TDs in the first six minutes...

BC lulled Louisville to sleep and held them to 52.

Major props to Navy. They beat ND 28-27. Some amazing numbers from that game

Only 1 punt on the day.

Only 5 possessions combined in the second half.

See you TAMU. Down 14 with 3:08 to play

Defender has perfect position and falls down before the ball gets there gives TAMU a 50 yard gain, and in the blink of an eye they are in red zone

It's clear Michigan is good, but so hard to tell whether they are championship good. So far they are kind of like Iowa last year, such an easy schedule, though they are far more dominant.

The Harbaughs are already up 21-0, 2nd and 34 from a penalty, Michigan's Evans takes a swing pass, juggles the ball for three strides, should have dropped it, then makes a great run and gets pushed out at the 1/2 yard line. So, Harbaugh pulls a hissy fit with his hat and papers over the non/TD call. They score the next play. I watch Michigan because of Harbs, and they're good. Tired of the SEC.

Finally! Beat Florida for the first time in the SEC. Feels good man.
Didn't know we had a piggy fan in the house!

They're possibly the most underrated team in the country -- losses to Bama, Aggie and Auburn knock them out of the major bowl picture, but those are 3 of the top 15 teams in the country, and only the Bama game was in Fayetteville. Whoever draws the Hogs in a bowl game is in for a world of hurt.

Interesting ending to Kansas State/Okie Lite. K-State has 2nd & Goal at the 3 with 10 seconds remaining and no timeouts. Pass completed short of the endzone and down at the 1. Clock would have run out, but there was an offensive pass interference penalty on the play that backs up the Wildcards 15 yards and gives them another chance to win the game.

I have to suspend my BC fan membership for a few years while my son attends Wake Forest. Congratulations to the Deacs on their exciting win over UVA today. Wake's 6th win of the season and bowl eligible for the first time under Coach Clawsen. They also have a chance to finish with a winning record for the first time in many years with a win over BC.

Congrats to the Deacs, they better beat BC this year. Any chance BC might have to have a future is dependent on losing that game

Awesome. I think there are a few Wake fans on here. 2006 was certainly the highlight of my football fandom as a Wake alum. Glad to be back in a bowl.
