Ehh, they missed that.  There was no way to confirm that on replay because his knee was down. And there goes Miller again.  This one's over.

His left knee is most definitely down, but I don't think the refs are going to see it unless they take a really, really good lock at the replay.  You can see his left knee going down, then it gets blocked out by a defender, and then when the defender clears the view, the knee is on the ground, and the ball just comes out.  But, the knee was definitely on the ground before that.  If you guys rewind it, just watch closely at the left knee.
I thought he was clearly down. These announcers talktalktalk and don't shut up to actually stare at the reply closely.

LOL.  That defender that whiffs on the spin move is literally the textbook example of how not to break down and tackle.

I'm glad you said it. Because fuck.

Also, on the Brewer injury did the defender do that "driving into the turf" thing? And is that a penalty in college?

Has a team ever had 3 legitimate Heisman candidates? Man is this team loaded with talent. And they have Barrett waiting in the wings if Cardale ever goes down.
Team is missing 4 of its best defensive players too. This team is probably the most loaded of any college team ever.

Depends how you define Heisman candidate, and if you are talking about if a team had 3 guys at the start of a season who could win the Heisman, or at the end (I don't expect Jones, Elliott, Bosa and Miller to all be in the conversation at the end of the year).  For example, in 2005, Reggie Bush won it, Leinart finished 3rd, and Dwayne Jarrett wasn't really a Heisman candidate, but he was a final 3 finalist for the Biletnikoff as the top wide receiver in the country.  I'd have to go back and look at my notes and stats, but I'm sure I could find a bunch of teams with 3 studs that could have been considered "candidates," but realistically, it would be impossible to have 3 guys on the same team finish in the top 5 or something, unless it was a QB and a RB/WR and a defensive player.  Just don't see how it would work any other way.

And two (maybe 3) of their best offensive players in Wilson, Marshall and White (who are all suspended).  Wilson might be the most electrifying guy on team too.

I thought it was still a penalty, but I saw it happen all weekend and I don't think it ever got called, so maybe not.

That sucks, just saw the scroll at the bottom of the screen that Pitt RB, James Connor, who is the defending ACC player of the year, tore his MCL yesterday and is out for the year.

The 2001 Miami Hurricanes had 17 NFL first round picks (Wilfork, Portis, Reed, Shockey, Winslow, Vilma, etc). Don't think anyone will ever touch that kind of talent again but these Buckeyes may give them a run for their money.
Good call on that 01 team, forgot about those Miami teams.

So OSU is shaping up to be this season's version of the 2015 KY men's bball team.

Which means they will lose to Wisconsin in the final four

Wisconsin's loss to Alabama this week likely suggests the Badgers will meet a similar fate as the Gobblers.

Bama held Whiskey to 21 total yards rushing, which included 25 on one play.  You can do the math.  Ugly on the ground.
