Where do I go to bet on Notre Dame scoring a second-half defensive touchdown?

I would like to remind anyone Texas' QB went 1-9 his senior year in HS as their starting QB.

How he starts for the largest university in the nation bewilders me daily.

Texas has regressed in every single phase of the game. Tyrone Swoopes is not an FBS-caliber QB. Vance Bedford has apparently forgotten how to make a defensive game plan. Shawn Watson needs to be fired tonight. Awful, awful, awful.

Petrino has coached one of the worst games I've ever seen, from literally the first play onward.  And incredibly, Louisville still had a chance in this game, until they called their last timeout on a DEAD BALL after 2nd down with 50 seconds left on the last Auburn possession. Auburn then runs on 3rd down, lets the clock run down to nothing.  Ball game.  Inexcusable.

I'd like to thank Mr. Petrino for attending the Pete Carroll school of timeout management in the offseason.  That second half was a complete clusterfuck for Auburn, and Jeremy Johnson looked horrible for most of the game, but Petrino bailed Auburn out by using 2 of his 3 timeouts in the 4th quarter with the clock stopped, once while on offense!

looks like he went low to try to make a tackle and maybe caught a knee to the head?

Reminds me of my best friend.  He started at middle linebacker at Westfield State as freshman.  After a particularly hard hit, he walked over and sat on the other team's bench.  The training staff came over and asked him where he was and he said "Cambridge," which was where we went to high school.  A half dozen or so more concussions, and some academic issues later (totally unrelated), and his football career was over.  I remember when stuff like that used to happen in high school, we'd joke about it on the sideline about having had our "bell rung."  Probably wouldn't be joking about it so much nowadays.

This Ohio State team is absolutely loaded with studs.  Literally, all over the field, offense/defense/special teams.  It's like a five star roster.  Alabama is probably the only team in the country, IMO, that has this kind of talent top to bottom, but they don't have the QB that OSU has (or two of them).  This is as legit a preseason No. 1 as we've had in quite a while.

Everyone is going to talk about OSU playing without Bosa today (arguably, the best defensive player in the country), but they are also without Jalin Marshall, Dontra Wilson and Corey Smith, who were their 3rd, 4th and 5th leading receivers last year, and in the case of Marshall and Wilson, two guys that could start at running back for 85% of the teams in the country.

And there goes Elliott.

Man, they are so, so good.  Who do you key against?

Oh yeah.  OSU has 3 quarterbacks better than Alabama's.  There is Braxton, making a diving catch at wide receiver.  I don't know what's more amazing, that they have 3 guys that could be Heisman candidates if they could all play QB, or that all 3 of them have stayed at OSU.

It is no coincidence that Saban is sniffing around the NFL. He, like Carroll, knows when to get out of Dodge. Saban's advantage in the college game is gone; he has known it for a couple of years: and he smart enough not to piss against the wind

My aunt is very close to Ohio State's AD and apparently many in Columbus think Urban retires after this season, regardless of outcome.

Eh, I'll believe that when I see it.  Deep down, I don't think Saban has any desire to go back to the pro game after the last disaster.  Alabama still had the Number 1 recruiting class in the nation in 2015, and I've seen them ranked anywhere from 1-9 in 2016.  That team, like OSU, is stacked top to bottom.  It's just the QB situation.   You put Jones,  or Miller, or Barrett on the Tide, and they would roll, just like the Buckeyes.  If OSU played in the SEC, I think going undefeated as often as they have would be very unlikely.  'Bama looked pretty damn good dismantling a very strong Wisconsin team yesterday.  Don't count them out just yet.;

Hey, Virginia Tech still has a couple of tricks up its sleeve.  Great calls on back to back plays with the end around, and then the throw back wheel route.  When you're so overmatched physically and athletically, you have to come up with plays that take advantage of the defense just pinning their ears back.  Tech can't compete with a straight ahead smash mouth running game, or straight forward drop back passing game.  Keeping the defense off balance is the only chance they'll have tonight.  I thought coming out in a hurry up earlier was a good idea along the same lines too.

Does OSU never practice against misdirection plays? Do they know what they are?

Elliott is unstoppable running the ball yet they insist on running speed option. I get that the bear defense makes you want to go side to side but man their O line is good. They're trying to be too cute instead of lining up and smacking them in the mouth.

This.  1,000 times, this.  Every time they hand him the ball, they have success, and yet, it's like Urban feels like he has to "do something" great on every play.  It's as if they aren't content with 5-7 yards on a play.  They want the home run, or guys running free for 20 yards because of the perfect play call.  Sometimes, when you're just so much more talented than the other team, it's fine to just use that advantage and take the 12 play, 80 yard drive.

Honestly, if they keep giving it to him it won't take 12 plays to go 80 yards.

As someone rooting for Va Tech though, I'm okay with it.

I'm going on record right now as saying that Cardale Jones will not finish this year healthy.  He's going to end up with a lower leg injury at some point.  First of all, they run him way more than they need to, but more importantly, he runs very, very upright.  I've seen at least 3-4 tackles tonight where he got dragged down that could have easily blown out his knee if he didn't get his foot off the ground when he did.  He seems to get grabbed and twisted down at weird angles a lot due to his size and desire to not go down, causing defenders to have to grab and hang on and pull him down from strange spots.

Touchdown, Jones to Miller.

Good for Miller. He's not an NFL qb and going to FSU does nothing more than feed his ego. It's nice to see a young man make a good decision for his team and his future.

Oh man.  Michael, probably shouldn't have poked the bear at halftime with the comment "it'll take more than that to knock me out of the game."  Well, here's your more than that.

The Hokies defense is standing tall, and it's going to suck if it turns out that the reason OSU wins this game is because they knocked Brewer out.  He had the offense playing well, and keeping the Buckeyes off balance.  I haven't seen anything from this backup to think he can do the same, but I really, really hope he finds a way to put some points on the board, or OSU is going to escape because of an injury.

His left knee is most definitely down, but I don't think the refs are going to see it unless they take a really, really good lock at the replay.  You can see his left knee going down, then it gets blocked out by a defender, and then when the defender clears the view, the knee is on the ground, and the ball just comes out.  But, the knee was definitely on the ground before that.  If you guys rewind it, just watch closely at the left knee.
