Miami is frisky but this is just a bad matchup for them. UConn is the class of this tournament for sure.
"Frittering away an advantage or lead through extended bouts of nervous or unfocused play", is how I've understood it here. What does that term mean?
It’s wild to me that the equipment managers have no spares on hand.I want to know what brand of shoes "broke."
Usually I’d have a shoe bag next to the bench with a backup pair for each player. It’s wild to me that the equipment managers have no spares on hand.
More.Miami has missed at least a dozen shots from inside the paint.
You can't expect those $200 shoes made for $5 in materials and sweatshop labor to really hold up.I want to know what brand of shoes "broke."
No they won't. I'll happily take SDSU +25UConn will beat SDSU by ~25
Miami is far more athletic than SDSU and is much better offensively and UConn is going to win by 15. I don’t think it’ll be close at all.No they won't. I'll happily take SDSU +25
Jimmy Fund bet?Miami is far more athletic than SDSU and is Koch better offensively and UConn is going to win by 15. I don’t think it’ll be close at all.
I hope Monday is close. A period of garbage time will be filled with nothing but emotional paeans to Jim Nantz.Hurley still hasn’t won a big close game
I don’t bet anymore … but pinky wagerJimmy Fund bet?
EDIT--UConn's inside presence was certainly a factor, but Miami missed a shit ton of lay ups.
SDSU plays great defense and can hold UConn down to the mid 60s.UConn will beat SDSU by ~25
I dunno about anything crazy like 25, but I'd charity bet even odds for you at UConn -10. Live spread appears to be -7.5. Your choice of amount up to $100. Winner picks charity.Jimmy Fund bet?

Uh, no. My response was specifically because he said 25 and someone else said more. I would probably take UConn -10.I dunno about anything crazy like 25, but I'd charity bet even odds for you at UConn -10. Live spread appears to be -7.5. Your choice of amount up to $100. Winner picks charity.
Yeah I'd put my own breakeven around 15. That FanDuel line of -7.5 almost looks like free money, good thing I don't bet on sports.Uh, no. My response was specifically because he said 25 and someone else said more. I would probably take UConn -10.
Think you are referring to “man to man”?Dunno why I can’t find this on a web search, but what is the handful of nonsense sounding syllables that Raftery does right after the start of every game?
Wow, I never would have guessed on my own, he really is a national treasure.Think you are referring to “man to man”?
There was nothing like a Raf called Big East game in the 80s and 90s. The “send it in Jerome” game where Jerome Lane of Pitt broke backboard was pinnacleWow, I never would have guessed on my own, he really is a national treasure.

He’s the best. We got to meet him between games at a tournament once and he was about as cool in person as you would imagine. Just so positive and friendly.Yeah, I’ve long said that if I was a billionaire, I’d hire him to watch games with me at my place when he wasn’t working. I just never heard/noticed that thing at the start before, almost sounds like mumbled incantations. Onions!
I don't know. People seem to watch this event no matter who is in it. However that being said the ratings sure have been dropping over the years. I wonder if it's because it's harder to accurately get correct numbers nowadays or because with streaming there are so many alternate viewing choices. Back in the 80's and 90's ratings were regularly 20+ share. Lately it's been half that. This is going to be the lowest rated men's CG in some time, ain't it?
On a weekday, no lessA 9:20 tip is insane. I expect a blowout though so it’s kinda irrelevant.
That's close to where I was in 2014. I was on the other side of the baseline. I remember at halftime looking up and realizing there were levels even above the level of the scoreboard.
