IT's a shame FAU found a way to lose because yes, it'd be a better game on Monday, at least for a time

I dunno about anything crazy like 25, but I'd charity bet even odds for you at UConn -10. Live spread appears to be -7.5. Your choice of amount up to $100. Winner picks charity.
Uh, no. My response was specifically because he said 25 and someone else said more. I would probably take UConn -10.

Dunno why I can’t find this on a web search, but what is the handful of nonsense sounding syllables that Raftery does right after the start of every game?

Yeah, I’ve long said that if I was a billionaire, I’d hire him to watch games with me at my place when he wasn’t working. I just never heard/noticed that thing at the start before, almost sounds like mumbled incantations. Onions!

this was always funny whenever Raferty called a Syracuse game — iirc they played a 2-3 zone with some mantaman principles

He’s the best. We got to meet him between games at a tournament once and he was about as cool in person as you would imagine. Just so positive and friendly.

This is going to be the lowest rated men's CG in some time, ain't it?
I don't know. People seem to watch this event no matter who is in it. However that being said the ratings sure have been dropping over the years. I wonder if it's because it's harder to accurately get correct numbers nowadays or because with streaming there are so many alternate viewing choices. Back in the 80's and 90's ratings were regularly 20+ share. Lately it's been half that.

where I was last at
...there are so many alternate viewing choices...

Video killed the radio star.

I also think with many of the the best college players from the elite hoop schools never seeing their sophomore year has hurt quality, and a sense of continuity/watching guys and teams develop. And with the aging/retirement of many star coaches IMO it becomes a harder product to market.

It pains me greatly to root in harmony with Kawhi Leonard, Graig Nettles, and Marshall Faulk

Then again, I have the entire Gwynn family, Carl Weathers, Kevin O'Connell, Paige Spiranac, and the estate of Raquel Welch also with me.

Go Aztecs!

Please keep it within 20.

Great move having a NASA astronaut sing the anthem, but my ears were not normalized to her randomly bunching words together.
