Rockets are 4-10 from 3.
The C's started ok yesterday too, but then it went to shit. They're only shooting 35.7 from the floor, and have missed 3 free throws. They've got 5 offensive rebounds already. They are going to wish they had a bigger lead than 4 points given the way Golden State has been shooting. Just like the C's needed to extend their early lead yesterday.

That left handed layup by Harden is the same shot that I think I saw Rozier miss a hundred times this year, as well as a bunch of other C's. For some reason, they can't seem to get the soft bounce off the backboard that he gets, and the ball caroms off the front rim. God, I miss Kyrie.

It's a really hard skill: you have to get the ball to decelerate massively while going at full speed.

Rockets had 7 offensive rebounds, and 6 steals in the 1st quarter. Golden State only shot 36% from the field, 2/10 from 3, and 3/6 from the free throw line.

Rockets lead by 5.

That's not enough.

This Warriors team just looks off. Been that way all series.
I think losing Thompson to foul trouble is going to be a major, major issue for them for the rest of this half. Houston has to find a way to extend this lead before halftime, because when he comes back in after the half, the Supernova is coming with him.

For all the talk about Houston, Harden and D’Antoni coming up small in the playoffs...their taking it to the champs right now and GS is the team that looks like the pressure is too much.

They were also at home. This is a different animal. Still expect them to make a run but it will be a lot harder tonight.
Last time the Rockets were unsustainably hot from 3. This time they are attacking and beating the shit out of the Warriors.

Rockets are getting fucked by the refs. Shocking, I know. Back to back trips, back to back fouls on Harden 3's. Leads to points by GS, only a 9 point game.

Rockets are going to wish they were up a whole lot more, and they damn well should be too.

Would be up 15+ with reasonable officials.

Golden State is 3/8 from the foul line, they've turned it over 10 times, they've given up 11 offensive rebounds to Houston, and it took a buzzer beater by Gordon to make it an 11 point lead.

I guess you have to be happy to be up by 11 at halftime, but if I'm a Houston fan, I feel like we left a lot of points out there.

Someone who isn’t costing themselves any money this postseason is Clint Capela.

Those few minutes they got with Gordon/Johnson as the backcourt were huge in giving Harden some rest.
