It's kind of amazing that they don't double Curry at half court every possession. Make the others beat you. They aren't going to execute that perfect passing every time.

Watch the Grizzlies challenge this now. My head may explode if we come back from this commercial to see they did.

On back to back possessions the Wiggins gets nothing but backboard on an open 3, then Poole just dribbles the ball out of bounds. There are exactly two above average players on the warriors, and one is worst scoring "good" player in the league. Really ugly to watch.

Damn, clutch jam there from Bane. What a win for this young team.

Morant deserves a lot of credit for being a poor shooter who Golden State dared to shoot and he confidently set a career high for threes made.

It’s a shame that nobody will remember that Jenkins almost cost them the game by not challenging the Poole leg kick out. His players bailed him out......with a bunch of help from Kerr.

On the Memphis 3-pointer in OT that gave them the 110-109 lead, it sure looked like his foot was on the line. If that’s a 2 the rest of the game plays out differently.
I’m neutral on these teams, so I don’t care, but it sure looked like it should have been 2 instead of 3.

Morant had a great box score game but for all of the 4rh quarter and about half of the OT, I was wondering just how overrated he was watching Dillon Brooks and Kyle Anderson taking turns running 1on 1 ISO’s normally reserved for players better than good 4th options

In the biggest game of his professional career, Morant scored 15 points in the 4th quarter and OT, including the clincher. Anyone thinking he bested Curry is out of their mind (Bayless) given the uneven ground they were on, but I don't know how you come away from that being anything other than impressed with Morant. 35 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals, that's something.

Isn’t this the organization that is “light years ahead”?

The Warriors are going to be at an interesting crossroads this summer. I hope I’m wrong but I don’t think Klay is going to come back as a top level player after two lost seasons to injuries. The question is do you cash in Wiseman and the Minny pick for one last shot, or do you think long and hard about starting a rebuild?

I'd cut them a bit of slack this year considering their injuries and the fact that they've been drafted at the very end of the first round for about 6 years now. Considering how good Curry and Draymond still are, were I in their shoes I'd cash in to be a title contender for another 2-3 years, but when you've been at the top of the league as long as they have maybe you aren't as starved for a title and want to try rebuilding on the fly. Certainly going to be an interesting summer for them.

$1.5 Billion was spent to build Chase Center. If they traded Steph before a full season of fans they may blow up the place.

They will probably do nothing bc so many execs are risk averse but the move is to gauge the market for Wiseman while Steph is still here.

Warriors are in great shape. Curry is at a high level, Draymond was very good, and even though it was the season from hell, they may have found a few rotation players off the scrap heap like Poole and JTA. Klay will be back next year, and Wiseman and the Minnesota pick are either trade assets or the start of a new core.

The second guard spot next to Curry was a black hole for long stretches this year. Even if Klay comes back at 80% of his old self, that's still a big upgrade on the Oubre/Bazemore/Mulder combo.

Yeah, the constant chatter on the broadcast about how great they'll be with Klay neglects to point out that those are some major injuries. Hard to assume he'll be what he was. And Wiseman is going to have to make some major strides really quickly. The physical skills are obvious but he's so young and so inexperienced. He really just needs more time on the court. If he does break out it's more likely the season after next.
