Patty Mills.  Old, fat, washed up Boris Diaw.  Bellineli.   Danny Green.  The Spurs seem to win these acquisitions more than any team in sports save for maybe the A's.   They really are remarkable.

Yep. I'm really happy to see this core get another. Best run organization in the league, and up there with any organization in pro sports.

Just don't make shit up, yo. He's not being triple teamed and you're astute enough to know it. That's all.
Right. We must be watching two different games then. In the game you're watching, are the Spurs defenders not sagging off of Miami's "shooters" as soon as James penetrates?

Though G&MB is right in that the Spurs are keying on him on defense.  He cannot win the game/series by himself.

In the game I'm watching James is not trying to drive, no rip throughs, nothing. He deserves to be called out for the last 24 minutes. Don't worry he's still talented.

Ok. I agree they are "keying on him."

He has 27 points on 8-17 shooting.  And the Spurs are defending him pretty tightly.  What am I missing here?

mark jackson just called michael beasley "an absolute scorer and terror on the offensive end"

no wonder he got canned

Well there were a couple of games during Beasley's time in Phoenix where he torched the Warriors.  It was about the only time Beasley torched anyone while a Sun though...

spurs have responded to every heat run pretty much this entire series, it's amazing

If only the world were a nuanced place where LeBron could simultaneously deserve criticism and rightly be defended.

I know he is hurt and he is declining but if anyone deserves criticism, its Wade.  What a big nothing from him today.

41-11 bench points. Even if the Big 3 remain, Miami has a lot of work to do.
If they don't opt out I don't see how they get better unless they find a miracle in the draft

Is James tired or disinterested? He's not getting back on either side of the ball.

Why is Chris Andersen in this game?
same reason beasley is, everyone on the heat not named lebron and bosh sucks pretty much equally right now so why not

I agree. He has been atrocious. I thought maybe we'd see something out of him  with three days between games, but no.

I noticed that too. He didn't get back on D and didn't get up the on O in the subsequent possession.

LeBron walking back on defense. He's quit.

Congrats on the title, dude.

People say funny things about LeBron. Dude has been the best player in the league, head and shoulders above, for something like 6-7 years now at least. 6 of the best 7 players in this series are on the Spurs, it's not a big surprise they're dominating like this. Keep on hating, though.

Yeah, it's almost like he's exhausted from having to guard Parker at one end and be a one man offense on the other:

Big Three Minutes Since 2010-11 Player Minutes

LeBron James 14,756
Chris Bosh 12,459
Dwyane Wade 11,787
Tony Parker 10,796
Tim Duncan 10,156
Manu Ginobili 7,820

Also, he sat less than a minute this entire game until just now.

I was lucky to see the Spurs live a couple times in the course of this playoff run. Really a privilege. They were jaw dropping. Absolutely great team basketball.

It's like some people can't even tell the truth. He did quit and it's ok to admit it. He's still good.

Seriously? Do you understand the complexity of the motion they run?

Or even he isn't capable of beating a team this good singlehandedly.
