Brown/Smart/White/Grant/TL was a gamble and that was the game. Sucks. Bunch of awful possessions while GS was trying to let them back in the game.

Tatum will absorb the harshest criticism, but that comes with the territory. If you demand to be the alpha of an NBA team you’re going to hear it when you come up short. Maybe it’s not fair, but it’s what happens.

I like Tatum. He’s a very good player. I think he’s exhausted. Ar the same time he’s been awful this series

Tatum has had a poor showing tonight but in total stats, he’s among the leaders in points, rebounds, and assists for the series. Plus, it’s almost certain he’s playing injured. He’ll learn and improve.

Agreed. Tatum is the alpha of this team; but he definitely came up short this series. Maybe it’s the shoulder. Maybe it’s the awkward Kobe hero ball.
I would love if Stevens somehow got a consistent scorer like Bradley Beal and maybe move on from Jaylen.
Please, go look at Beal's efficiency numbers. He puts up points because his team is awful and he shoots a billion times a game.

Yeah, but maybe it’s syphilis. That can affect cognitive ability.
I'm seriously not trying to make excuses. But you don't believe that a player having pain can affect the decisions they make? That's honestly weird.

At a basic level we know that playing with injuries can cause injuries elsewhere because the player compensates. That's just one example.

If you told me they’d hold GS to 101, I’d take that every day.

I think that’s something that will be lost this series, just overall how excellent the defense was given the sheer number of turnovers the Celtics committed, thus more GS possessions.

Congrats, Warriors. Until next year. Tremendous respect.

These last three games have been bitterly disappointing

I have no idea why this Boston team didn’t meet the physicality of the Warriors, since they have a physical advantage at almost every single position.

They fumbled away a championship by turning the ball over and over again.

This should never have happened.

That’s officially it. Start the offseason thread. It’s sucks, I’m having one of the worst days of my life and could’ve used something good.
Sorry to hear Salem's Lot, don't let this game get you down any further than real life stuff it's just a game. We're here for you.
