i grew up in chapel hill and wanted to make sure it wasn't just me. nova uses the seahawks strategy of just playing so physical that you can't call everything, meanwhile meeks is whistled if he looks at somebody wrong.
Well, they probably have to shoot a little better to neutralize the rebounding edge, but they should get some of that back with TO margin. Still, the path for Nova to win if UNC shoots around 50 percent seems very narrow.
I don't think the refs have been bad. Just noting they are in the bonus. One and one could matter.
Agreed. I am leaning Nova but I like UNC too. Game seems to be called evenly to me. Its a great game thus far.
this game has had a couple of long stretches where nova's D threw a wrinkle at carolina and they went cold for an extended stretch. they can't afford another one of those from here on out. that's the difference
Paige generated contact and defender went straight up and didn't come in Paige's space. Great no call
It'll be more fun this way. Nova will take it. Too smart and disciplined to let it slip away.
Too early for Nova to take the air out. They can be deliberate, but waiting 15 seconds to get in their offense makes them too easy to defend. They are shooting great. It's ok to take a good shot even if there's still time on the clock.
Gotta post Arch up if you're Nova. Let him make the plays whether he shoots it or kicks it out. Gotta go with the senior.
