I think the Cubs get it back to Cleveland. The pitching matchup should be way in their favor.

I think if Cleveland jumps out in front, the Cubs ABs will start getting more desperate and pressing and the Indians close it out. If Lester can hold them down into the middle innings, it should give the Cubs offense the time to get their legs back under them facing Bauer.

I think this is spot on. If Cleveland gets out ahead, Bauer comes out after 4+ innings, Miller for 1-2, Shaw for 1, Allen for 1-2, game over.

That being said, I chose No.

I find the ex Sox players on the Tribe more likeable than those on the Cubbies. So I hope Tito's squad can wrap it up tonight although if I had to bet money I would choose the Cubs in this one.

In keeping with superstition I'm not voting.

My big choice is clothing for the day. White Sizemore jersey with blue sleeves and wahoo on the breast, grey jersey with no player name, script Cleveland across chest, or Party at Napoli's tee.

These are big decisions.

After the game last night, Maddon graciously said that the Cubs have the best in the pitching matchups the rest of the way.

Go Cleveland

“@hasselESPN: Indians fan just alerted me to interesting fact:

The last time there were 2 ties in the NFL, the Indians lost the World Series in 7 games.”

Two ties in a week? Two ties in a season? If it's a season, were the two ties before or after the WS?

Not a very interesting fact

Did Kluber leave on a round-the-world cruise or something?

Nah. Maddon just knows there's only one game left.

Yowtch!

Cubs put up that quick run last night, suggesting that was going to relax them. As we know, things went in another direction. Nothing will really surprise me tonight.

Umm, those dudes in the bullpen were sort of interfering. is that not interference because the bullpen is "in play", so to speak? Seemed weird, but no one seemed wot give a crap.

That was pretty bush from the personnel in the Cleveland pen on that pop-up in foul. If it happens again I hope Heyward levels them.

If Rajai Davis isn't going to bunt on Jon Lester, what the fuck is he doing in the game?

I don't know how commentators can refer to Bauers "rough start" in game 2 without mentioning his finger was almost falling off.
