It would be helpful if they also listed what their revenue was prior to CV.
I don't think they have any idea what overall revenue is. The note at the bottom indicates their estimate is purely from lost ticket sales based on 2019 attendence and average ticket price. This doesn't seem to indicate any concession revenue or merchandise. It also wouldn't appear to lost revenue due to lower NESN ad revenue either.

It's basically a single pie slice of a much much larger pie.

I think it's only misleading in that it only estimated ticket revenues lost, which the title does not indicate. It's a bad headline, not necessarily a bad article.

I've mentioned this before, and it may not be worth much as he was speaking informally but Ron Fowler told me the Padres "lost well over $100M" last year.
