MLB Draft Game Thread

The Draft starts tonight. Some of the top prospects include Adley Rutschman catcher from Oregon State, HS SS’s Bobby Witt Jr and CJ Abrams, 1B Andrew Vaughn of Cal, Hunter Bishop CF Ariz St, OF JJ Bleday of Vandy, and HS OF Riley Abrams.

The Sox don’t pick until 43. Names to watch should be college closers Matt Cronin(Arkansas) and Jacob Wallace(UConn). Both should be ready to contribute at the major league level soon.

At #22, Rays took the "fastest player in the draft" -- Greg Jones from UNC Wilmington. Currently a SS but maybe turns into a CF. The second coming of Carl Crawford, except with a good arm???
