Crazy development here at the ASG. Somehow somebody managed to get up on the CF video board between innings and hang a big banner that says "LOVE WATER NOT OIL". Been up for a good 5-10 minutes which is 4-9 minutes longer than you would expect it to survive.

Our resident bots are slacking--how do we not have a pic of this yet?

A fitting way for Jeter's all-star game to end.

Offensively a bloop hit to right and defensively being taken off the field for a better fielder before the game is over.

If Jeter had been doing this in games that actually counted, they might be doing better.

Seeing as Price bounced a couple pitches the way he did, I think there might be some pitching involved...

Have they profiled any one other than Jeter? I feel like I'm watching a HS game and Jetes is the blue chipper surrounded by filler.

Adam Wainwright admitted he grooved a fastball to Derek Jeter in the first: I was gonna give him a couple pipe shots. He deserved it."

SHOCKING
----------

I don't know whether to laugh at him being so pathetic that wainwright felt the need to throw him a bone or cry because wainwright felt it necessary to throw him a bone.

How about the fact that Wainwright had too much professional pride not to explain what happened?

I hope this gets brought up when the WS goes to a game 7 and the AL team wins when the DH hits 4 bombs and they win 4-3.

As bad as the Jeter ballwashing has been, that's how as bad as listening to Harold Reynolds is (Family guy McCarver "tribute"). Actually Harold is a 10, the ballwashing a 9.

Why did Jeter hug the one guy in a polo shirt and not the other.

That guy is going to forever be "the only guy in the dugout that Jeter didn't hug in his final All Star Game." That's kinda awesome.

It would have been nice if that moment was all they did.  Instead they force feed us Jeter 24/7 and by the time that moment comes it's super overkill.

He gets a pass for being nice enough to shit the bed in Game 1 last year.

I meant how pathetic is it for Jeter that Wainwright is basically saying, "He never really could have hit a double off of me. I mean, not if I were trying."
