Aikman & Mike just had a Brady & Belichick love fest. Both were gushing. Should be on the site later. It's right at the end of the interview.

where I was last at
Russo praising Brady and killing Rogers. Russo says 'Brady might be better than Montana!' Dead silence from Mike.
I heard that in my car, and was lmao.

But to be fair to FF, he was splooging over Brady and the game-tieing FG in the snow, with no time and no receivers.

and Aikmann and he were spoogling over Brady in general.

just listening to Boomer and Carton-- and they have a guest doing Francesa and Carton is doing Mad Dog, and its pretty good parody.
I'm pretty sure it was Joe Benigno doing Francesca. It was hilarious. "I'm screaming! I'm screaming for no reason!"

T minus 2 hours ...

"Listen to me ... LIsten to me for a second! ....

First of all, it's far from the worst that I've seen, and there is enough blame to go around ... Norman did his share, and Finnegan too, and Finnegan is an instigator ...

But it's not on Tom. If the officials believe he was out of line, eject him. If they wanna suspend him, suspend him. But Tom's job is to win the damn game!!!"

"I hate the behavior of these players today. It all boiled over yesterday in the worst performance of look at me ever. Beckham has not accomplished anything but he gets the spoils because of fantasy football, etc. Great talent of the highest order but also what we have seen that the Giants are afraid of his talent and him. Instead of seeing what the coaches and refs should have done it was so over the top. That play was downright dangerous. Norman was acting but OBJ was so far over the edge i've never seen before. TO was never that bad. Everyone with authority in Giants org. is guilty. They ruined Shockey and they'll ruin him too because they never said no. They let him do whatever he wants. Everything is about him."

We know you dropped it. Move on. Instead we got a game filled with so much garbage. I don't know what was wrong with Tom. Tom didn't have the gumption to take him off the field so the league has to do his dirty work. Ref should have gone over to Tom and told him to take him out or I would. Refs did not police the game. Who was he helping with 3 personal fouls which could easily been 6 or 7 PF's. The talent and production down the stretch is not the question. No rules or decorum for him. Nobody says a word to this guy. They plead with him. Everything with him is ME ME ME. Wear ridiculous stuff on the field. You're part of a team not even a good team.

also great point about the league perhaps not wanting to discipline Beckham because of their affiliation with Fan Duel and Draftkings and how bad that'd screw people's fantasy teams, hadn't even thought of that.

This is a tidal shift for Mike. Being around the same age though Coughlins older, Mike has always shown great deference and respect to Coughlin. I wonder if Mike already knows from Giants friends that Coughlin is not coming back, and thus being critical of him will not cost him a job as that is already a fait accompli...

I agree. While I was listening to it, I thought that it was in some ways cover for Francesa to pivot away from his season-long defense of Coughlin.

And Francesa is right. At the very least, after the second personal foul call Coughlin should have had Beckham sit out a series and told him that if he wanted to get back onto the field to help the team he'd have to stop costing them yards by engaging in the chippy stuff that he and Norman were doing to each other.

FYI, Jim Gray on the MNF Westwood One broadcast last night blasted Coughlin. He actually said Beckham, the head on-field referee, and Coughlin all should have been suspended for their poor handling of this, but he was most critical of Coughlin..

Did he have his weekly show, and if so what is he saying about "Tom"?
