I'm not sure who Big East Profits is, but that account doesn't exactly scream credible.

Seriously. Can we filter to at least somewhat credible sources?

Not credible?  The guy was apparently 14-2 in the conference finals and finals last year.

If we're going to wait for credible, does that mean we shut down the thread until LBJ makes a proclamation?

Interesting, some of the made up rumors are now indicating he'll go back to Miami.  I'll keep that in mind.

I think it's pretty obvious right now that he is going back to Cleveland. LeBron wouldn't have teased Cleveland so much only to not come back, he isn't that thick.

This is really playing out like the plot from "He Got Game" with Pat Riley as Denzel Washington, Chris Bosh as Booger, Dan Gilbert as the seedy sports agent, Kyrie and Wiggins being the two whores Jesus has sex with and Dwyane Wade as the prostitute that Denzel helps out.

If Lebron is super villain enough to not go to Cleveland I will have a new found respect for the guy. I already think he is a hell of a player but he might go down as the greatest troll of all time if he stays in Miami

How about Wade, Lebron, and Riley with Riley leading a group that buys out Gilbert?

Melo & Bosh are coming too. At least that's what my brother's friend's sister in law's cousin who grew up with LeBron's gardener said.

That's the guy who saw Lebron pass out at 31 flavors last night.  I guess it's pretty serious.

Rumor is a porcelain doll collection as a throw in for the cavs sealed the deal for Lebron.

A Lost Time
It just occurred to me that if Lebron goes to Cleveland and Bosh to Houston, Houston might meat Cleveland in the finals... and beat them. Which in turn will allow us to ask all sort of intriguing questions we were always meant to ask, like:

How many championships can Bosh win before he declines? Can he beat MJ's 6? How important was for him to get in Houston the help he wasn't getting in Miami?

LeBron will be a super villain if he turns down Cleveland.  That is a fact.  It isn't right but there will be a large segment of the Cavs fanbase and proportionally smaller segment of the casual NBA fan-base who will have their feelings about LeBron being a phony confirmed if he doesn't do The Return(tm).

The rest of us will debate why he decided as he did and yet still admire the guy for being the best basketball player on the planet, a freak of an athlete and a type of player we may never see again in our lifetimes.  And Ray Allen will have a skinned chicken for lunch.

The only thing that LeBron can be accused of is not reeling in ESPN, which may be mission impossible in any case. It's the teams' responsibility if they choose to draft this guy, or trade that guy, in hopes of pleasing him or making room for him, and it doesn't work out. Unless, of course, he provided some kind of assurance that these moves would land him, and there has been no evidence of that

Nor is there any evidence that he has compromised any other players.

Just go back to what others have posted: FA just started. If teams want to get a jump on it days in advance and ESPN wishes to pimp it weeks in advance, it's on them.

This is not THE DECISION part II. It only seems that way. In reality. LeBron will continue to be punished for part I

I wonder how many SoSHers are scurrying across websites, desperately wanting to be the first to post the confirmation that LeBron has made up his mind.

It would be great if Lebron tweeted his decision just as they were shutting the doors on his flight to RIo.

It's not trolling. It's self-examination of what the Twitter culture has done to our collective desire to share even the smallest morsel of information. 90 percent of the fun in this thread has been the posting of tweets from various far-flung people -- some who have information and more who don't.

If we can't just step back and share a laugh at what this sort of thing has done to those who follow sports, then what's the point?

Or wait until extra time in the final. He can text Ken Rosenthal

Yes it is fun to follow this.  The Twitter era is the best era to follow sports and other things.  It's like being in a sports bar 24 hours a day.

He needs to find a better tailor.
Brian World Wide Windhorst.  He went to LeBron's high school and is reputed to have taken a massive dump in a locker that LeBron would one day use (they are about six years apart in age).  Tailors cannot help Brian (aka Windy or Scoop) because his stories literally emanate from within his large frame.   You cannot stop the Windhorst.  You can only hope to retweet him.

Ha classic.  I can't believe he's built a career out of being LeBron's water boy.

Wade actually does well either way.  If LeBron returns, he gets a shot at ring number four (for him).  If not, he gets a lot more money.

LeBron should actually list Windhorst's career on his website under The Businessman section.  In other news, I would like to give Nicole Curtis my max contract.  Unfortunately, I think I am severely cap constrained.

Wade and LBJ both seem like intelligent guys and they're mot spring chickens anymore but anytime I think of them talking to each other I keep thinking of them as high school bros like the characters in American pie.

Of course, Tuesday's gone is playing in the background. Maybe a little boys to men how to say goodbye for certain scenes.

All I know is that if wade doesn't like where the conversation is going don't be surprised if lbj all of a sudden has a mysterious injury

Somewhere
Normally, I would say that there's no way LBJ shares a plane ride with Wade if he's going to drop Miami as soon as it looks like their future starts looking a little cloudy. But then again, I would have thought there was no way LBJ would have put together the Decision if he were going to leave Cleveland fans in the lurch. So I have NFI. This is awesome. I hope he drags it out another week just to fuck with Daryl Morey.

Perhaps, but I believe the police are at James' home in Bath, Ohio. Maybe he plans to return to Miami and getting police home protection from rioters and looters.  :astonished:
You laugh but LeBron is at his camp in Vegas all week then to Brazil over the weekend......why else would police be there but to provide protection for his property? To me this is a huge tell that he's going to remain in Miami.

I sense that the whole holabaloo started because no one had the nerve to tell Wade to accept a massive pay cut and if it's going to get resolved in Miami's way, it's going to be because Wade did accept that massive paycut once he envisioned his alternatives with Lebron gone. So in a way, Lebron's free agency is a massive Wade shakedown.
