What do you mean? Nate Lowe is second in MLB in RBIs, behind only JDM. Oh, whoops…Rays offense SUCKS
It seems that since the start of the 2020 season Yandy Diaz has returned to being the player the Indians knew him to be... great eye and plate discipline, but reluctant to retool his swing to increase his launch angle, and now his ability to barrel the ball has cratered. Of course, I'd still take him in a heartbeat over the useless carcass of Jake Bauers.Rays offense SUCKS
He’s the Cuban god of hard hit ground ballsIt seems that since the start of the 2020 season Yandy Diaz has returned to being the player the Indians knew him to be... great eye and plate discipline, but reluctant to retool his swing to increase his launch angle, and now his ability to barrel the ball has cratered. Apparently he had good reason to get things done swiftly. His wife went into labor during the game.If Scherzer puts the Marlins down in the ninth on 7 or fewer pitches he’ll have a Maddux.
Wow, I did not know that.Apparently he had good reason to get things done swiftly. His wife went into labor during the game.

ESPN showed it in slow motionHoskins with a F-Bomb to the Ump.
Gonsolin is still ahead of him, but both Gonsolin and Price are hurt currently, so LA plans to go with a 4 man rotation for now and maybe Mitch White if they need a 5th guy before Gonsolin or Price is back.Too bad for the kid.
Price may be back in the rotation!
Definitely the right thread for this post#Dodgers announce Dustin May will undergo right elbow UCL reconstruction surgery on May 11.

Back gave out under the weight of his offense.DeGrom supposedly scratched with a lat issue.
They were down to their last out in the 8th inning. But he does have a style about him.Javy Baez is a deeply flawed player but man does he have some swag.

Clearly you have yet to master all the rules of Calvinball, it was the second game of a doubleheader, so a seven inning game. Kimbrel gave up a game-tying HR in the 7th, then Baez saved the game there and the Cubs swept the doubleheader in the 9th.They were down to their last out in the 8th inning. I hate the guy.
You know, I watched the highlights after and was thoroughly confused, and now I know why.Clearly you have yet to master all the rules of Calvinball, it was the second game of a doubleheader, so a seven inning game. Kimbrel gave up a game-tying HR in the 7th, then Baez saved the game there and the Cubs swept the doubleheader in the 9th.
Angel screwed up. For the millionth time (millionth and one was later in the game at first base btw). He's not capable of doing the job and at this point it's an embarassment to the sport and other umpires that he's allowed out there. What a clusterfuck in KC. Royals had runners on 2nd (Benitendi) & 3rd (Merrifield) with 1 out. Sal Perez hits it to the track in right-center. Two Cleveland outfielders got to it, but neither caught it. Because the wall there is the LED out-of-town scoreboard, no one else could actually see the ball. Merrifield crossed the plate, but Benitendi ran between 2nd and 3rd like a chicken with his head cut off until he was tagged out. Apparently one of the confused umpires called it a catch during the play, so Angel Hernandez decided it was a single but ignored everything else that actually happened and just granted Benitendi 3rd base (never mind there was no baserunner behind him and he was running back to 2nd). Fortunately, despite the jam, it ended up not affecting the score. I think Francona was ejected.
But Kuntz noticed, and that's all that really mattered to screw up the play.Francona said what he asked Hernandez on the field after the explanation was "Why does this always happen when it's you?". Even the incorrect out call he made was so half-assed that most of the people on the field didn't notice.
Tito's bolded comment is awesome! I'm still laughing.Francona said what he asked Hernandez on the field after the explanation was "Why does this always happen when it's you?". Even the incorrect out call he made was so half-assed that most of the people on the field didn't notice.
