California. Duh.
Liverpool travel to Newcastle to see old friend Rafa Benitez Saturday, while City host Brendan Rodgers and Leicester Monday. Will either title contender slip up?

Spurs can wrap up their Top 4 spot Saturday, while the other 3 contenders play Sunday.

Everton-Burnley kick off the weekend in a few hours.

Am I supposed to be hearing "Rafa and the Brodge" to the tune of "Benny and the Jets"?

Because that is definitely happening.

Played hooky from work, cracked a beer, waiting for kickoff at Goodson. Last home game of the season, it will be rocking.

Richarlison at 17’, sweet left footer into the corner from the top of the box (may be calling it a Mee OG - must have deflected although I didn’t see it. Toffees bright and lively.

You're being rewarded for ditching work. That's always extra satisfying.

Looks like Richarlison's has been ruled an own goal on Mee, which ties him with Conor Coady for the EPL lead. Oof.

Still 2-0 at 67’. Peter Crouch warming up. Will we see the much-anticipated Crouch vs Bernard aerial duel?

Second half is slower, more evenly contested. Keane lucky to get away with a shove in the box at 74’. Raining hard now.

Jagielka comes on in stoppage time. Coleman gives him the armband. No word yet on a new deal. 36 years old and 13 years with the club. Might be his last game at Goodson in the home blue. Crowd chanting his name. Little dusty in here.

I would love to see video of Coleman at the end of the night. Sounds moving.
It’s Jagielka who might be leaving, DH, and he’s a Blade, he came up with them, so rumors that he might go back there for a last year now that they’re coming up. Probably means you’re not that kindly disposed, but anyway-

Spurs early kick tomorrow--3 points secures CL.
1 point like 98% secured it. ManU can't catch them and Arsenal is 9 behind in GD.
You
Though without Son and Kane the rest of the season won't help.

Edit: Strike that didn't realize i was looking at one of those live tables. Two total points will surely put them through.

Dier should have been sent off too - he was already on a yellow and came in from behind and high on King.

There could have been one and at least two penalties called on Spurs too.

The Bournemouth keeper - Travers, never heard of him - has put on a clinic. Guess Spurs were frustrated. They also look out of sorts- maybe they're just worn down and frazzled, they're playing so many games with so much pressure, and they're down so many guys.

5 shots for Spurs in the first half, and all 5 on target. Would have had at least 1 or 2 if not for Travers. Who, upon reading his Wikipedia, is 19, from Ireland, benchwarmer for Irish national side, played for a couple of Irish clubs and for Weymouth in the English seventh tier, where among other things he scored a goal.

Welcome to the PL, kid.

so of course Spurs now enjoying possession. Cherries don't quite seem to know what to do with their advantage.

Spurs are actually playing pretty well down 2 men. Bournemouth showing absolutely no sense of urgency.

Spurs need to update annoying underdog time-wasting tactics and try to escape at 0-0. A point here would be very useful with Spurs' big GD advantage.

I find it somewhat ironic that Bournemouth seem to have no ideas against a team that’s bunkered in. You’d think they train like this every week.

Bournemouth are lumping in all these stupid aimless crosses. You've got a 2-man advantage. Keep the ball on the floor and move it around - there's all kinds of space.

More crosses. Dumb dumb dumb.

Maybe Bournemouth should try baiting more Spurs players into red cards until they can just walk the ball into the net.

If I were a Bournemouth fan I’d be screaming at the TV. No team I’ve ever rooted for has ever frustrated this much and I was a Whalers fan.

If they'd conceded 20 minutes ago I would have just shrugged. But to concede now would really suck.

Wow. Brutal to see 40 minutes of hard core defending undone in an instant.

I’m watching Wolves-Fulham to root against Wolves in the race for the Everton Cup. Jots just got a yellow for diving in the box.

Will be fun to see Brighton fans rooting for Palace today.

It’s Jagielka who might be leaving, DH, and he’s a Blade, he came up with them, so rumors that he might go back there for a last year now that they’re coming up. Probably means you’re not that kindly disposed, but anyway...
Got it- I misread you and thought you said Coleman was leaving (which surprised me).

I would love to see Jags back in bacon stripes; at 36 he'd be a terrible fit for Wilder's system.

Well taken by Zaha. He’s playing with a lot of conference and swagger.

Spurs have 10 points total in their last 11 Premier League games.
They have completely run out of gas. In four of their seven losses during that stretch, they conceded the winner after the 80th minute (83rd at Burnley, 81st at Southampton, 90th at Liverpool, 91st at Bournemouth). And there could have been a 5th if Arsenal hadn't missed a 90th minute penalty in the derby.
