Was all ready to post a riff on the Emma Lazarus poem with the Red Sox as Lady Liberty welcoming all of the tired masses of Bruins and Celtics fans. But alas.
IMO the play is to send him down when Duvall is back. Duvall or Turner can play 1B.
We waited quite awhile through the pains of Bobby D to get to Casas. If Casas busts, we will have to go free agent hunting at some point for a decent 1B
Casas sucked tonight but he came into tonight with a .277/.360/.462 line in May with a lot of hard hit balls for outs.
I just don't love the approach at the plate from him.
OK, let's not overreact to one AB against a good closer here. In general I think he is too patient. Cora needs to give some 2018 Do Damage lessons.

Turner to first, Hernandez (maybe the worst infielder in baseball) to center platooning with Duran and find a real shortstop.
I'm ready to move on from Hernandez entirely. Not that we have a SS to replace him.

I turned this off after it was 8-0. Nice they finally scored some runs! Maybe I should not watch tonight, they did way better without me.
From what I've seen, Turner definitely qualifies as "decent" there. When the injured players come back, the DH can be a rotating rest position.
