There’s nothing on earth that elicits collective empathy - at least among males - like a guy getting hit hard in the junk. We can look away at war, poverty, and injustice, hate others for their beliefs or origins or skin colors, but a man getting hit in the dick, is always just a man getting hit in the dick.
Kimbrel's last five appearances: Three blown saves and a fourth where he had to be removed before he blew the lead. The guy is toast.
There are limits. If Manny smoked a ball to short that took a bad hop and hit Jeter square in the nuts, I would still be laughing about it today.
I will always appreciate what the Astros did in 2015 (play in game) and 2017, 2019 and 2022 (ALCS) to stop the barbarians at the gate.

Not often you see a guy with 1 hit and 5 rbi without hitting a home run – Manuel Margot has a bases-loaded double, a run-scoring groundout and a run-scoring error/ground ball.

I was next door last night at an outdoor Social Distortion concert. When we first got the tickets a few months ago, we were considering staying overnight and seeing the Pirates today, but with it being Mother's Day weekend and other things going on, we decided it didn't make sense. There was enough rain to cause a delay last night, but fortunately, we were in a restaurant for most of it and the rain had completely stopped by the time the concert started. This would be a cool game to see though, despite it turning cold and rainy the past couple of days.

Sorry, I realized that after I posted.
He was way out of the zone on his balls, but given his good command in AAA I wonder how much he might benefit if he gets a bigger zone than he's used to.
I watched one of the AAA games with the roboumps and, to me, it looked like a bigger zone than I was used to seeing. Balls above the belt being called strikes.
I believe that the call was going to be 80 pitches or so. Strikeouts and foul balls are gonna run that up.
Provided he doesn't get into a big jam, they're probably going to let him get through the fifth whatever pitch count he's on.
He's pulled at I think 82 pitches with no outs in the fifth and two on. Smart move, although the fans disapprove.
Paul Goldschmidt is straight up not having a good time this season, and especially so in the month of May:

Andres Gimenez fouled a ball off his foot and was down on the ground for a few minutes. Then he got back up and hit the next pitch into the right field bleachers. I guess he didn't want to run on the sore foot.
