City not having a center forward (and no real target man in the middle) is going to occasionally lead to games like this when they have a lot of possession but not a ton of really good chances. On the flip side they flood numbers forward which led to them being exploited on the counter.

CB play from City today was atrocious. They only needed to really beat off a few Spurs chances but they kept letting Kane get loose in the middle. He really could have scored four goals today despite the lack of possession from Spurs. One he missed from point blank range and one was narrowly offsides.

It’s always the same against Spurs. Pull all 10 behind the ball and know you can unleash on the break. City will commit forward against the back 10 and the break is always on

Given the conditions I believe he got lucky.

I do note that MU is now acting like a championship squad try to gain promotion. Long passes to no one, extra little pushes, hacks and trips.

Leeds should be letting MU get at Firpo, what with the 'effort' he's put in today

Leeds players have to be aware Elanga was hit with a massive coin, right?

As a Sweden fan, Elanga is someone that can't be CAP-tied fast enough. He's played for Sweden at the youth level, but is also eligible for England (where he has lived since he was 12) and Cameroon (where is dad was an international).

What a rip by Podence. Leicester have outplayed Wolves but need a goal in the last 20 minutes to get a result.

Spurs surprisingly with the same XI from the Citeh match and same defensive shape too. Odd choice. Lots more space between the lines early on though.

Oh fucking hell. Sissoko plays for Watford now? And scores?

My bet on the under of 2.5 is not looking so good.

Best spell of possession by Spurs there. Kulu looking very good, turning his man with the same move twice. Kane looked like he had Sess for an early far post cross but he waited too long and the defender recovered. Seems like the best plan for Spurs is to build moves off of the passing from Dier, Romero, and Kane, Son's speed, and Kulu's control.

If you have a death wish, might I recommend the "Garry Birtles is mad about crosses" drinking game?
