Weirdly boring week. Spurs and City might be interesting if Conte believed in a midfield, but he doesn’t. Maybe Wolves and Leicester will entertain?

It’s a dull week because it’s the reversal of the opening day fixtures and by design they avoid rivalry matchups on opening day.

Gomez

Guessing he is the RB backup with Nico Williams gone. He has, IIRC job sharing experience there with TAA at one point.
Gomez cam up as a RB/CB and his first stretch of Liverpool matches were at RB. He won’t be bombing forward like TAA (LOL), but he will hold it down defensively.

Actually, a 2 legged Dortmund-Palace side would feature two of the most raucous stadiums in Europe. Would be quite the event.

That would be a dream!

Interesting seeing Olise in the 10 spot today. It will be fun to see what he can do there today.]

Argh - he almost had a goal there.

LOL.

Pulisic should have buried that. He must be confused about what year this year.

It’s remarkable Luis Diaz doesn’t have a goal for LFC yet. He’s always dangerous. Hopefully the flood gates open soon for him

Edit: i know it’s been like 4 games but he’s always in the right spot. I meant it as a compliment not a complaint

What a shock that criticizing the refs in the press has led to Arsenal getting exactly 0 marginal calls from the officials.

This shit might work in the NBA but it doesn't work here.

Brighton really pooping their pants on defense. Dunk is out after seeing red at ManU, and Webster is out hurt. So it's Duffy and Veltman in the middle. Looking very disorganized; Duffy and Sanchez were shouting at each other right before the second Burnley goal.

1-0 Norwich on a Matip deflection. Nice build up by Sargent if I’m looking for a silver lining

Klopp’s selection will be under some scrutiny given what’s going on.

Ox needs to be off immediately.

Patrick Vieira must give the best halftime team talks, because they difference between first half Palace and second half Palace is profound.

There’s 1. I feel like Sadio has tried a bicycle kick in like 5 straight games. Glad he finally netted one

Mané only scores bangers. Better service or the ball at his feet in the same situation and I’m sure he finds the Kop.

If I had bet $1 Salah would score with his right foot from outside would I have just won a billion dollars?

Ooooffff for Palace. Kovacic on his first touch threads it perfectly.
