I've always had a soft spot for Obafemi because he is Irish, and he made his debut a few years ago when he was like, 16, against Spurs and the announcers literally had no idea who he was because he had just been called up to the main squad that day.

Decisions like this (or lack thereof) make it truly seem like VAR is being deliberately short circuited.

I think because the ref saw the foul (he played advantage) VAW can't look at it. But yeah. Just makes the result more frustrating. Should have played up a man and instead ended up down one because of a head injury.
On paper United have the easiest run in. They *should* beat Palace and West Ham before having to play Leicester last game of the season. Chelsea have Liverpool and Wolves, Leicester have us and Spurs.
Will be interesting to see what Ole does with the lineup. I'd have to imagine he plays the horses again against Palace and plays a weakened squad vs Chelsea in the FA Cup. If Williams and Shaw are both hurt we could be in trouble. Shaw has been immense since the restart.

It’s getting to the point where VAR being applied correctly would be news. That’s a brutal challenge.
