Spurs really rocking Huddersfield here. 2-0 flatters the Terriers, really. But a Wanyama goal is kind of fun.

4-0 final, Lucas with the hat trick, and Llorente played well.

West Ham just got jobbed by the linesman. Player clearly onside with VAR that's a goal and they're up 1-0 at Old Trafford.

That penalty on West Ham however was legit. Mata got crushed just inside the top of the box and so it's 1-0 ManU.

Sterling misses a sitter and subsequently scores an outstanding goal on the counter.

Not expecting Hodgson to take more than 3 points off City this year...

Should have been a card on Fabinho, but now I’m worried. Unless you rip Hazard’s leg off, I fear he’s going to get his revenge soon enough.

TAA showing off a bit. How soon until he moves into the midfield full time?

That red card might have been a little harsh, but if anyone deserves it, it’s Troy Deeney and pretty much anyone else who plays for Watford. Every time I’ve watched them, they have done something dangerous, violent or dirty. Hell even their mascot is a shit-stirrer.

Agreed. Harsh, except for the fact that there was no play at all outside of attempt to injure with an arm to the face. Ball was gone, it's not like he made a late challenged that just ended up a bit reckless.

Arsenal in a great spot up 1-0 and up a man.

A win puts them at 66 points. 1 behind Spurs, and 2 ahead of ManU. Even with Chelsea whom they have a game in hand against.

That could be huge in the race for the Everton Cup. Watford were in 10th with TWO games in hand but only one point back of Leicester in 7th at the start of play, with Wolves and Everton in there too. The suspension for Deeney is a killer. Seventh isn't good for anything unless City win the FA Cup - and even then the last Europa League spot has been a poisoned chalice for PL teams lately - but to the extent that 'best of the rest' matters, Watford just took a big hit.

Would the 7th place team get the Europa spot if either the 5th or 6th place team qualifies for the Champions League via winning this year's Europa or CL?

Atalanta drew 0-0 with Empoli. That, in and of itself, is not remarkable. But what is remarkable is that Atalanta attempted 47 shots and still failed to score! Empoli's goalkeeper made 17 saves.

Atalanta are one of those sneaky fun teams to watch this year. They had led Serie A in goals scored (until this game). Papu Gomez and Josep Ilicic are two of the most entertaining players in the game, and Duvan Zapata is one of the league leaders in goals scored.

Their attack looks like they’re playing a video game. It’s fun to see, especially at home in Bergamo.

That's a good question. I don't think so:

https://www.hammers.news/club-news/europa-league-tussle-who-is-most-likely-for-seventh-as-race-hots-up-between-west-ham-everton-wolves-and-watford/

explains:

At the moment the Premier League gets four Champions League places and three Europa League places each season.

Two of the three Europa League places go to the winners of the FA Cup and Carabao Cup. The other goes to fifth place in the league.

As a result of Manchester City – bound for the Champions League by league position – winning the Carabao Cup, that Europa spot is awarded to sixth place in the league.

The top six is already sewn up.
