Another bogey for Haas at #13. Up to +2 now.

Only 12 players currently below par, after Haas, Woodland & Weir log bogeys.

I don't know if it is going to get to +5.

I'm inclined to agree. Only two active players are sitting worse than +2 right now: Simpson & Oleson, both at +3.

McDowell is +7 on the day, +7 for the tournament.  Disastrous day.

Manassero's been worse. He started at -1 today and is +8 for the day through 14.

Sprinkler head for Rory on the approach to 13.  Awful.

They just showed it on ESPN. Holy crap.

He's able to hack to the fringe, but it's such bullshit when a player is penalized like that. They should be allowed a drop where it landed. Strict rules of golf my ass.

Big birdie at 15 for Olesen drops him to +3. That's huge for the cut line, since someone else besides Rory would need to jump to +5 or higher.

Hoping like hell Matt Fitzpatrick can put a red score up on one of his final three holes to make the cut.

Nantz sucks and I hate to agree with him, but there really are some giant names who aren't going to make the cut. Kind of disappointing.

What a shot from Snedeker on his approach on 18.  Holy shit, that should have dropped.

Should have. That was great. Stopped for about a second and then almost rolled back 30 feet and in.

Meh.  This is the one tournament that doesn't have to have names for it to be great.

While I wouldn't mind seeing Bubba win it, I just hope he doesn't run away with tomorrow.

Don't reed Patrick's lips...

Freddy settles for par at 18 after another narrow miss of a birdie putt.
Wouldn't it be great if he went on a tear and started dropping these over the weekend? No one is better tee to green at Augusta but he just can't consistently putt.

The gods owe us one after Watson almost did it at the British Open. It really would be fantastic .

It doesn't. But I wouldn't mind watching guys like Mickelson, DJohson, and ZJohnson, among others, this weekend. Oh well.

After Scott finds the heavy pine straw to the left, Fitzy goes right down the middle of 18 on his drive. Come on, kid. Git 'er done.

Scott is gonna have to punch it out from there and play for position.

Hoping Fitzy can drop a bird to play the weekend.

Reed misjudges a downhill birdie putt at 17 and it's short -- by 8 feet.

Way to go, Top Five.
