After a birdie at #2 to get to +1, it looked like Darren Clarke might make a run. But he's since had 4 bogeys & 8 pars to sit +5 heading to #15. The cut is looking tenuous.

For those without a live feed, Oosty finished off his eagle at #13 to tie for the lead at -4.

Olazabal bogeys #14, back to +1.

Vijay birdies #13 to join him there.

Olazabal throws a wedge up past the hole on 15, it backs up, looks like it is going to stop 5-6 feet away for a birdie try.  then just before the last revolution it catches a ridge and starts to pick up some speed,  it then rolls about 75 feet  back and to the left before finally ending up in the water,  setting him up for a double

He  did not look pleased

Damn. This course is merciless.

I've played Pine Valley and was humbled beyond belief there, but I have to think Augusta would institutionalize me.

I'm sure Brandel Chamblee will be as outraged with Donald as he was with Tiger last year!

I had the same thought, but I saw no reason to type that morally-superior douchebag's name.

McCoy plays his final 7 holes even as he finishes +17. Nice to see he could steady the ship down the stretch.

Grace also finishes, a bogey at #7 his only blemish, as 5 birdies give him a round of -3. Helluva response.

The last Aussie to repeat as champ in a major: Peter Thomson, who made it back-back-back (1954-56) in the Open Championship.

Leishman with a double at #9, and he makes the turn at even having dropped 5 strokes in his last 6 holes.

Bogeys at 1, 4 & 6 have Woosie at +8. Hope he enjoys the complimentary in-flight cocktails as he heads back across the pond.

Oliver Goss with a birdie at 14 gets to +2, and he's 2-under on the day. Nice round for the Aussie amateur.

Lucas Glover finishes birdie-birdie for a round of -3 and he's back to even for the tournament.

Leishman bogeys #10, and whatever foo foo dust he was sprinkling around this morning appears to have blown away. He's now +1, with 6 strokes dropped since his birdie at #3.

They are certainly interesting. It was noted yesterday but it bears repeating. If Golfers are trying to look ridiculous, they are doing a great job. Many look like a bag of skittles, just crazy colors all over the place.

Great par save at 16 for Oosty after some rotten luck on his tee shot left it in the fringe at the top of the green rather than settling back down near the cup.
