I was worried about this after that catastrophic WBC outing. Hope Bard can work through it without missing too much time.

NEWS: Rockies closer Daniel Bard is starting the season on the injured list with anxiety. He’s decided to be open and honest about what he’s going through instead of trying to hide it. He had the yips earlier in his career and spent seven years out of the majors.

Daniel Bard: “It’s a hard thing to admit. But I’ve been through this before. I have enough going on outside the game to realize what’s important … I’m extremely grateful to be in an organization that understands these things and Is accepting.”

Toronto/St Louis has been a really entertaining game.
Was coming here to say this, runs scored in 11 of the 16 half innings so far and a bunch of lead changes, STL just scored 2 to go up 9-8 in the 8th.

Also Wilson Contreras took a 103 untouched fastball off his knee (while catching) from Jordan Hicks and had to leave the game, fingers crossed for his kneecap.

The amazing thing was he actually ran up the first base line chasing the ball for a moment until he realized how much his knee was hurting... Just a "contusion" apparently.

The Oakland A’s have the craziest looking training staff I have ever seen. Look like the local mob. Union guys of course.

It's a good Luis Castillo has a lot of hair stuffed under his cap because Will Brennan just shot one up the middle and knocked it off his head.

Shane Bieber has allowed exactly one hit in every inning through six. Four of them made it to 3rd base. None of them have crossed home plate. The ball Will Brennan literally hit off Luis Castillo was the only hit off Castillo. Still scoreless in Seattle as they go to the bullpens.

Brash looks like his breaking stuff has somehow gained movement. Holy cow. I hope they can find a way to make him work as a starter. He is so much fun to watch.

Everything needs to be reviewable. That's the first time I've ever seen a batter draw a walk on a foul ball.

Man, I love what the pitch clock has done! It did a number on pretty much every game. Too bad there isn't a time limit for commercials though.

I'm sure most of the offensive outburst games like the Blue Jays-Cardinals one will be longer, but I think that's normal. The more pitching-dominant a game is, the quicker it'll be.

What do you guys think of the pitch clock so far?

How do you find these? The only ones that came up were from last year.
They're available on youtube or MLB. Youtube has them for the NBA, NHL, and NFL as well (all through their league pages). They're a super awesome way to keep up. And very good material to put on the TV when working out!

Thank you so much. This will be great for me following some W coast teams.
