Pels hot from three.

The Jays have a difficult time re-heating up after big quarters

They learn to defend, play hard. Not sure he is the guy to go next level, but he turns kids into players. I almost think he recognizes his role is to develop stars, and then exit.
And translate "Pat Riley forced me out so he could get another ring with Shaq" into "I need to spend more time with my family"

I'm not a big fan of this version of Marcus Smart.
I hate to say it but I think this offseason might be the time to trade him.
He doesn’t seem to be making as many of those hustle plays as we are all accustomed to and his defense has slipped noticeably. You take those away and you’re left with a guy who thinks he’s way better than he is who often kills the offense...

Fun to see Nickeil-Walker and Romeo going head to head.

Oh, wait...

I think he’s just out of shape. At least that’s what I hope is going on.

....so does scal think Ingrams still not a good player? Of course he’s the same doofus who thinks Grant Williams is the engine of the C’s but still

I have a take: yes we are losing, but for some reason I am not getting pissed off the way I have been at other points of the season when we were losing. I don’t mind what I’m seeing out there, just not getting the bounces right now.

For once I think they’re playing better than the score indicates. I think NO inevitably cools off in the second half.
Absolutely. The Pelicans have had some wide open 3’s but they’ve also drilled a bunch witg a hand in their face. Bound to regress there

Half court offense looks great, on D they just can't execute. Plenty of effort but Pels getting wide open shots with ease.

Have to agree. More enjoyable to watch even though they are behind. Only downside is I was hoping for more from Fournier but it's early. Kind of looks tentative but maybe that is normal coming to new team.

The thing about Ingram is he is very good at losing basketball games, throughout his career.

The threat of the lob is letting Smart get to the hoop with ease. 3rd time I have seen it and I didn’t start watching til mid 2nd
