Must be so demoralizing to be Grant.Clean block.
Grant killing me with the classic inside position rebound miss on the other end.
So many super-athletic guys only get by on athleticism and don’t even bother to box out, and don’t have the instincts to read the ball off the rim, etc. Grant just born in the wrong body.Must be so demoralizing to be Grant.
At least 4 times a game he has great position, times his jump perfectly, and someone just casually grabs the ball from his outstretched hands with minimal effort.
It's what everyone seems to say that Brad wants, a stretch 5 that plays some defense. I also like that he looks to box out and puts his man on his back. There were several Celtics that got easy rebounds because Kornet held his position. I realize it's just OKC but I'd like to see more of him.Kornet 8/5/1 in 13 big minutes, plus-21. He might be cut before ever playing again for the Celtics, but that was impressive, and most needed.
They wanted to bring Moses put of the paint so they put in a shooter, who promptly hit 2 straight 3Ps to give the Cs the lead.
12 points tonight; 2-3 from 3P.I don’t think it’s outrageous to squint at Carsen and see an NBA player.
He has the quickness, good release, confidence.
Once the Cs defenders stopped letting OKC players beat them off the dribble in the third quarter, TL concentrated on Moses Brown and shut him down. Brown got an early dunk off a laydown pass from Poku, and that was it for him. TL was solid in the third quarter, with 6 rebounds (2 offensive) and two blocks, as the Celtics tightened up the defense and got back into the gameKornet was shutting down Brown after he'd been killing the Cs all game, why change it up as the lead continued to grow
