The Jags are overpaying.For a 6th…incoming
Trevor better watch his Mac. He is coming.
Too soon.I'm not sure it's going to help him get back on track. What's Doug Pederson ever done with a backup quarterback?
Yes now they can.Are teams allowed to trade the comp picks? I seem to remember they could not but that rule may have changed.

Yes, rule was changed in 2017 to where they can be traded. Are teams allowed to trade the comp picks? I seem to remember they could not but that rule may have changed.
Why is it sad? He was one of thousands of players who couldn't really cut it at the NFL starter level. Good move for the Jags at that price, I think Mac under Pederson could keep them afloat for a couple of games if Lawrence is dealing with something.I am not going to piss on him out the door. The entire thing is sad. The number of barriers he put in his way was immense. However, if he had listened to the better angels of his nature, perhaps he would not have been swapped today as he should have been.
"Are the Jacksonville Jaguars going to need a back up to the back up quarterback?"Hometown Hero! Let the QB controversy begin.
Are practice squad players on the field to say hi to former teammates?Pats at Jags this year…
That would make more sense. Is the 6th conditional on Mac making the team?
There, that’s better.Sounlessuntil he washes out in Jacksonville, the only way I'll be running into him again at the Post Office is if he starts working there.
Happy trails Mac.
Maybe they wanted to do him a solid and trade him to a team where there was zero chance he’d have to play.Huh, thought they would get a 5 at least. Maybe thought chasing a better pick risked losing musical chairs
Who cares about Mac's perspectiveOof, traded to a team where he doesn’t even have a prayer of seeing the field without an injury. Jacksonville is all in on T-Law, obviously. This has gotta be a terrible landing spot from Mac’s perspective.
There’s always a chance he could sell you 50/50 glassSo unless he washes out in Jacksonville, the only way I'll be running into him again at the Post Office is if he starts working there.

Idk, being a backup QB, especially one that is still making first round draft pick money, is a pretty sweet gig.Oof, traded to a team where he doesn’t even have a prayer of seeing the field without an injury. Oh, don’t worry, I’ve been eating asparagus and drinking Hamm’s in the can for months in anticipation of this so I’ll handle the pissing.I am not going to piss on him out the door.
