So lately I've been getting yelled at because my TV is too.loud at night. I tend to go.to.sleep after midnight while everyone else in my house are early birds. My suggestion was that they buy me a pair of wireless headphones that I can plug into my TV. Went over better than I expected. No clue where to start looking though. Anything too expensive, like over $100 is probably a non starter but I'm completely open to suggestions.

Ah I should have mentioned I don't like buds. I find them uncomfortable after short stretches of time. I probably won't be wearing these more then an hour a night but I'd prefer to avoid those.

Does your setup (TV or receiver, if applicable) include Bluetooth and can it pair with devices? If not, can the setup support a Bluetooth dongle and pair with devices?

If yes, I recommend divorcing headphones from the wireless and using a Bluetooth clip-on receiver to receive the sound and your favorite headphones on your ears.

I use this for my mobile listening with my phone and my favorite (Shure) headphones, but there's no reason it shouldn't work with an appropriately-equipped A/V setup.

I don't think my TV supports Bluetooth but actually since it's 100% for video games I probably can just link it directly to the system and have it output the sound through them.

EDIT: Actually this isn't true. The 360 doesn't support blue tooth.
