Looking at the list above, I thought that it might be interesting to sort by "DPM Improvement" bucket and see who's trending in which direction. I filtered out some guys with not enough games played, in order to eliminate most of the JAGs.

Wait…this has Josh Okogie and Grayson Allen rated higher than Wendell Carter? Am I reading that right?

Balls. Didn't get a match on 2018 draft class because DARKO had the "III" suffix and BBRef doesn't.

Yes Rob is insanely high by DARKO, which obviously doesn't care whether he plays or not. I'll update the OP.

thanks: @Spelunker

Brogdon and Derrick White also appear. Brogdon 10th in 2016, and Derrick White 9th in 2017.

This is very interesting. Where does Marcus rate in the 2014 class?
2014
  1. Joel Embiid
  2. Nikola Jokic
  3. Bogdan Bogdanovic
  4. Jusuf Nurkic
  5. Andrew Wiggins
  6. Marcus Smart
  7. Clint Capela
  8. Jordan Clarkson
  9. Aaron Gordon
  10. Dwight Powell
  11. Zach LaVine
  12. Kyle Anderson
  13. Jerami Grant
  14. Joe Harris
His D-DPM is not as high as one might expect. Bogdan's O-DPM and Nurkic's D-DPM are super high, which is why they're above Marcus.

Hartenstein at #4 in 2017 stands out.

2200 total minutes over 4 seasons to start the year, but he's efficient every time he plays
