Maybe it's just me, but the T&W Derby isn't quite the same when there are no fascists.

Well, Aguero 1-on-1 with the keeper AND a Silva shot from in the box nets nothing. That's not a great sign for City.

ETA: and a handball, non-call in the box. Geez.

ETA2: POST!

A somewhat predictable one.  That goal is the entire City season in a nutshell.  Dominate possession, wasteful in front of goal, then the other team just has to play a ball into the box and wait for the customary comical defending to gift them one.

Gotta love Palace. If they win today, they are essentially safe with seven games to go. Unreal.

2-0, Puncheon off a Hart mistake. Wow. The stadium is DEAFENING. This is much fun.

Puncheon with the sweet free kick to make it 2-0. If this means City are really gonna have to go for it against Man U, that's fine by me. Prior to today i imagined that fixture as being a well faught draw that wouldn't hurt either team so much.

Christ i thought that Palace player was gonna do some excellent corner flagging and then he crosses the ball and gives it away. Footie players...nae brains.

Missed the game due to the Sox but what a result for Palace!  They're one of the PL sides - along with Southampton - that you can't help but root for.

Exactly!

More of a PSA for those who hadn't looked at next weekend's schedule.

To be honest i only just noticed this morning that the next game was Man U v City. Pellegrini might already be a dead man walking but if he loses to Utd, he's a dead man on his knees crawling to pick up his jotters. If he has salsa stains on his knees during the post match interviews the writing will soon be on the wall.

I just had a chance to watch the game and I'm exhausted just from watching...I'm still trying to figure out how Puncheon got that in. Normally that would be goal of the week candidate, but not this week.

Not too many times I come out of a game thinking that Palace got some breaks from the refs, but Palace got some breaks today.

Sox win, Palace win and NCAA finals tonight. Good day, good day.
