Oof, Miguel Cabrera out for the season with a ruptured biceps tendon. He still has 5/154 on his deal after this season, good luck with that.

Roberto Osuna suspended 75 games for domestic assault, cause beating your girlfriend is somehow 5 games more acceptable than using PEDs.

I still haven't seen any additional details. Not saying he didn't do it, but his suspension is longer than anyone else's on the domestic assault side, so I assume MLB has a lot more information than the public has.

Do you know more? Or have you read more somewhere?

seems like he was drunk. relevant paragraph from article about the charge

"Given my experience, however, I can make several general observations based on what we do know. Simple assault, which is what Osuna is charged with, is the least serious assault charge there is. If significant injuries of any sort were alleged, he would have been charged with either assault causing bodily harm or aggravated assault, both of which would result in much more severe penalties. In addition, he is only charged with one count of assault rather than several, which suggests that the allegation relates to an isolated incident rather than any alleged pattern of abuse."

not trying to discount it because he was drunk, still not ok to do

Seems weird that the MLB keeps handing out ever increasing penalties for each offender. Are they trying to find the magic number where these guys finally get it through their head?

The Chapman one seemed a lot worse and way more dangerous (at least reading from the article above) and he received a 30 day suspension. But the accusers didn't cooperate, so no formal charges were laid.

Either way, these guys need to figure it out. It's not okay for anyone, so start thinking about your actions
