Joey Votto has hit 7 HRs in 5 games. Currently has a .921 OPS, 133 OPS+. 19 HRs for the year, which would be his highest total since 2017. Glad to see he is having something of a resurgence, I really hope he makes the HoF. If he can finish his current deal with like an .800 OPS each season, I think he gets in easily. His OBP hasnt been nearly as high as it used to be but that may be because pitchers feel more comfortable challenging him in the strike zone. If his power is back, maybe that changes.

Daniel Johnson just handed (literally) Yoan Moncada a home run. Bradley Zimmer caught Moncada's flyball on the warning track in right-center, but Johnson wasn't paying attention, went for the catch, and slapped the ball out of Zimmer's glove and over the wall.

Ryan Tepera made his White Sox debut on the South Side, blew a one-run lead -- home run, single, walk -- got pulled without retiring a batter and was booed as he walked off the field.

LaRussa is completely senile. Jose Abreu just took a Karinchak fastball to the earflap. Cleveland has been in complete meltdown mode this inning (errors, near errors, a passed ball) and Karinchak has no command tonight. It was clearly an accident, no one questioned that. Roberto Perez moved towards Abreu while he was on the ground to check on him and LaRussa waddles onto the field, gets in Perez's face and starts jawing at him. The White Sox players were just like, "I guess this means we have to follow him out there?". After LaRussa was corralled off the field, Karinchak checked on Abreu and apologized as he headed for first base.

Fortunately, Hendrickson didn't throw at Ramirez in the 9th... although it wouldn't surprise me if LaRussa now throws him under the bus for not doing so.

Heath Hembree is the Reds closer, seriously? How did they not trade for a better closer?

They did trade for Luis Cessa, though, so after Hembree and Sean Doolittle combined to give up the lead in the 9th, Cessa gave up a leadoff single in the 10th to score the imaginary runner, another Mets comeback win.
