I wish I were joking, but as a sports bettor, I'm now really curious about the odds of betting the Sox to miss the playoffs entirely. Everything has come undone and outside of adding one starter to a shitty rotation in Sale, there's zero help on the horizon.

They look like pumpkins. Maybe they always were. Really sobering stretch of games, especially considering how fortunate two of the outcomes against MFY were. And Verdugo rescuing them against TOR

Not second guessing. Barnes should have started the 8th
Fairly obvious move in my opinion.

I think everyone here needs to relax. This year is entertaining but I am not expecting a championship. Chaim is doing the prudent thing by restocking the farm and building long term. Once Sale comes back and Schwarber is at first, I definitely think we have a shot at the playoffs. Deep breathes everyone and enjoy this season for what it is!

"To my friends, I'm big and I was a little fat coming out of college," said the 6-foot-4 Davis, who is listed at 245 pounds. "I was pushing 255. I was a little overweight and there was just one instance that kind of made it stick. We were at a pool party and I sat down in a chair. The chair broke under me and that kind of solidified 'Big Fudge.' They also called me 'fat' or 'tubby,' just joking, and when I broke through the chair, 'Big Fudge' was born."

We've been in first place most of the season and we're hoping we have a shot at making the playoffs.
