In all, Keri faces eight new charges. They include assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, criminal harassment and uttering threats. His wife is the complainant in each of the charges not related to the minor.

I'm not sure what DJnVa meant, but it is pretty clearly hyperbolic to say that there are no judges in the United States -- there are thousands -- who would have done what Justice Dalmau did.

I am cynical. That's true. So yeah, I can accept that my post was, in fact, hyperbole.

Maybe it wasn't fair but men hitting women is a huge trigger for me. I was grateful that justice was served.
