He's impossible to root against and one of the few times I vehemently disagreed with the decision to move someone out of town. Happy he got his bag though.

He's still the best I've ever seen at clearing pucks up the glass and out of the zone on the PK. Very niche and underrated skill but that puck ALWAYS got out.

When I first saw this thread I thought it said Johnny Bucyk. I was a wee bit confused.

I always like Boychuck. I understand why he left, but I was disappointed. I'm glad his name is on The Cup as a Bruin.

Some fancy town in CT
Accordingly to Capfriendy he still has 2/12 left on his deal. A little surprised he didn't go the Hossa route.

Wasn't it the aftermath of the Iginla contract? No cap room left.
He got traded (for cap reasons), he didn’t leave on his own. Unless it meant “I understand why he got traded” in which case it’s weird to use the active voice there.

I completely forgot one of the picks they got for Boychuk turned into Carlo. That eases the sting in hindsight.

My favorite player of the current era. Dude paid his dues in non-NHL leagues before making it big. Thank you for contributing in 2011. One of the 3 guys from 2011 I really miss.

And F the Habs. (The eye injury)
