Is this where Jerry gets on the phone to Bob Kraft and tells him what to do for the good of the shield? I'm a bit unclear where the lines of owners being arrested/sued for sexual assault is on the continuum - it's obvious defending onself against charges of allowing a part time employee to let a whiff of air out of the ball is an aggregious act.

The picture shows what appears to be some dude with grey hair getting a lap dance. Can we dispense with the Deflategate whining until we know more, please?

Edit: Oh, and the word you're looking for is egregious.

Hey look, I don't mind being "outraged" here, I'm just not sure what I'm supposed to be outraged at.

You're supposed to be outraged by all the Yoko-esque shots of his dear wife, Jean, who the national broadcasts constantly cut to as she appears to sit in a box on the opposite end of the field from the Jones/Christie jump around booth.

I'd love to be all mad about anything Cowboy related but I went the other way and took this as rather impressive.  Where are the pics of Jeff Lurie and the hot babes?

Yes, that was the word I was looking for. Frankly it's embarrassing when my brain does that these days.

I wasn't posting/whining about deflategate on its own - it truly is embarrassing that the Dallas Freaking Cowboys have an owner who can't stop putting himself in these positions. The schmuck in Indianapolis is just as bad - but that's only the Colts. It's bad enough that Hardy got signed - that turned my stomach. IMO opinion it sucks to see what the last 20 years has been for this team with this guy in charge. Egotistical and arrogant are a bad enough combo to mix with incompetance, to add in embarrassing is head shakingly sad. And from that place, it is hypocritical to comment on another owner trying to save the reputation of his own franchise.

If there wasn't a long history of smoke with this guy, I would be patient - but the fact that the long history exists is why the story gets traction even if that is really a photo of my neighbor. It's embarrassing.

Edit: It looks like original post vaporized - so I can't correct it.

If you want to slam a widowed millionaire for being attracted to a woman too young for him that's fine. Last I knew Jones isn't widowed. His wife is constantly shown on camera during the season. I'm sure she just loves seeing these photos and seeing the out of court settlements.

I know neither of them personally. But the public perception of them is apples and oranges.

Not these days. Jones may be seen as a bit of a clown, but Kraft is seen as running an organization full of cheaters.

The truth of those may be wildly different, but public perception isn't.

Glass houses, etc.

I know which of the two I would want a female friend to meet. If your opinion is different, so be it.

Eh, whatever. I'm just saying the pic that was posted was stupid and doesn't show anything one way or the other.

I can't speak to the state of Jerry's marriage.

Same, I could care less what Jerry Jones uses as natural viagra, and frankly what he does with it once it kicks in(unless he's breaking the law).  For all we know his wife has a fleet of pool boys parading in and out of the house, and he has his side action.  I know plenty of non-millionaires in that type of arrangement and their "access" is significantly more limited.

It wouldn't be the first time in history a loaded aging man had mistresses and it wont be the last.  Good for him, spending the last decades of his life chasing tail with his wife's permission(which by all accounts he has or they would have long since been divorced) doesn't seem like a horrible way to go.  Slightly terrifying to the state of Texas if his DNA creates a bigger family tree though, imagine 30 illegitimate kids coming forward for a share of cowboys ownership when he passes?

That's not a legal lap dance in many states,

But DrewDawg is on fleek that there is no evidence that it's sexual harassment.

If by 'this' you mean care about the people around them, then yes some people do.

For the record, I dont care what Jones does in his private time. I just think it is sad that the lawsuits and these photos popping up are associated with the team. And given these stories it was hypocritical of him to publicly counsel another owner not to pursue actions that would tarnish the NFL brand.

Edit: publicly

By "this" I mean, "Believe they have a fucking clue how an old guy who they know has a penchant for white collared blue shirts and pink ties and not much else rolls in his private life to the point where they'd be comfortable telling a whole bunch of strangers that it would be just keen if he wanted to split a root beer with one of their female friends."

Nope, I have no clue how either man rolls. And since we all know people who aren't what they appear to be, I wouldn't recommend either for anything. On the other hand, absent the money, I've (like everyone else) met the person Jones appears to be. I'd be more than comfortable telling a female friend (if asked) that I think he's a schmuck.

The only thing I can say about Kraft in that regard is that *if* he is a schmuck, he seems to be a discrete schmuck.

Oh: Me and Opie will be going for root beer floats later if you want to swing by.
