Between here and everywhere.
Who are the possible partners for a trade? The dude is an asshole - and a shitty defender - but 53 points is 53 points.
Who's the KC Chiefs of the NHL?

I don't want the Bruins getting within 250 miles of him. Even with the strong leadership group currently in place, there's no room for garbage like him in the lockerroom.

I think he's done as a player in the NHL. The trade scenario would be a team agreeing to take on his cap hit/buyout charge in exchange for the Rangers adding a sweetener or taking back a bad contract. So like the trade would be DeAngelo and a 2nd round pick to Detroit for future considerations. Red Wings (or whoever) would essentially be buying a draft pick.

I think this likely ends up in a buyout/contract termination.

I agree with cshea, this guy's career is likely over. The NHL does not like bad press and whoever brings him in is taking on all of it. Shitty teammate, unapologetic racist, parler enthusiast, all of it. He's going to be an MVP in the KHL soon.

If he does get bought out, the Rangers are accumulating quite the roster of bought out cap charges. DeAngelo would have to play forward.

Spooner - Richards - DeAngelo
Girardi - Shattenkirk
Lundqvist

Is this the place to talk about McDavid and Draisaitl? If so - holy shit.

The stat from this article is bonkers.

Through 11 games, McDavid has been on the ice for 25 Edmonton goals, Draisaitl for 28. When neither has been on the ice, the Oilers have scored just four times.

That all this is happening on a team that still might miss the playoffs is a tragedy.
