There is really only 1, now 2 guys hurt. About as healthy as any team in the league.
Don't forget Pasta for next game or two, but yeah your sentiment is correct. Get Marchand and Krejci back and they'll be ok.

Good effort but really missing Krejci and Marchand. We have no home ice advantage whatsoever.

I'm having trouble understanding how, with Shithead LOOKING at the hit, there is no response to this:

Sill suspended two games.

All I can find on updates for McQuaid is that he wasn't at practice today, which I think we all expected.

Shithead's explanation for why he didn't go after Sill

Rinaldo admitted as much one day later when going over his state of mind when he saw McQuaid get drilled by Sill. “Obviously you don’t want to see anybody hit like that, but especially [McQuaid] because he’s the first guy to go to somebody else’s defense, and protect his teammates,” Rinaldo told CSNNE.com. “I was out there [on the ice] at the end of a two-minute shift. I was gassed. I didn’t know what was going on. I saw the hit, but it was at the end of the two minutes where I’m not thinking properly.

“I’m thinking if I do go over there and drop the gloves, I get an instigator with a 2, 5 and 10 [minute penalties]. I think half the guys on the ice thought it would be a penalty, a five-minute power play and a game misconduct [against Sill]. So that was going through my mind: I was tired, and if I go over there and get beat up then we give them the energy. That was the longest shift, man.”
8 shifts and 7:29 TOI total, yeah I believe there's a '2 minute shift' mixed in there somewhere

edit: Holy shit he actually was out for over 2 minutes when the hit happened...

So ... which was it? Were you thinking or not?

I get it, to be honest. I have no doubt they've worked with him this year on reducing his "shitheadedness" so to speak, and that's been very apparent. He's drawn way more penalties than he's taken, and really hasn't done anything egregious. When you spend all season working on that, it's not easy to just turn back on at the right time. I'm sure he's had many times where he wanted to do something stupid and had to turn it off, this was just one time that it was warranted. It's really tough to tell which times are right and wrong in real time like that.

Also, the 2 min shift absolutely adds to it. Situations like that require someone to react immediately. If you hesitate even a moment, the time passes. When you're bent over and completely gassed at the end of the shift, your first instinct is never to just jump someone and the hesitation is real. Then the moment has passed and it's too late.
