He can do that yet he sometimes chooses to pull up and shoot a long two when his defender is already beat. Why? Why?!

I like Tatum's pull up two from the top off the curl. The rest of that Kobe-inspired 2002 style shot selection is a huge mistake at this stage of his career. he should be swooping to the basket until the other team stops him

Gordon 3 points...thanks buddy
He is so slow. Two plays that half stick out to me. Brown stole the ball and then outlets it about 3 feet ahead of a running Gordo. He almost can’t catch up with it and nearly let’s it get out of bounds. Second one, he cuts from the foul line and Morris throws him the ball. Except he is running about half speed and the thrown ball just ends up in a defenders hand. He has to play many minutes tonight given the small roster, but woof.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking -- while wincing. He hasn't lost a step; he's lost about ten.

Here
Wanamaker is better than Rozier right now and won't be sadface over minutes. Please Danny please.

Gordon's streak hasn't lasted, either, which is a shame. I was hoping we'd hit the sustained pretty good to very good level, but not yet.

Hearing Scal say that they call everything is infuriating when he watches Kyrie, Jaylen and Tatum on a nightly basis

When your highest paid player, making $31 million this season, has only three points halfway through the third quarter, is that good?

Would be great if Hayward would do literally anything
He hasn’t seen the ball since he subbed in. Are you even watching Terry dribble the clock down every single possession?

I get that Hayward is a max player and people are mad he’s not dropping 15-20 a night, but he creates for others and plays solid D. Terry does neither and he’s killing us.

Anyone on this team who took offense to Kyrie's comments can go fuck themselves

Anyone else having a really difficult time rooting for this team? I can’t even be upset that they’re getting blown out by the D’Angelo Russell show. Too disappointed to care.

I haven't watched a second of this game but as a casual fan I am tuning them out until the playoffs or a significant trade. they had a chance to look like they figured it out and have shit the bed now.

inconsistent, really disappointing drop-off from last year.

this is like the 4th time or something recently they've had a horrific 3rd quarter on defense. it's always one shitty quarter.

44 point quarter to the Nets. This team is an embarrassment.
Two things. 44 point third quarters suck but the Nets do not. They are a playoff team if the season ends today (before this game). In fact, the Nets are closer to overtaking the Celtics than the Celtics are to the two seed in the East. People keep citing the teams that are smacking them as being inferior but that isn't factual from a record perspective or otherwise.

Again, no Irving and no Smart gives this team no margin for error on either end.
