Forest up 1-0 over Liverpool just before the half.

Ol Man Robbo fell over trying backpedal. It’s getting painful to see the wheels come off such a brilliant player.

JOTA! His first touch!!!

It was the other sub, Tsimikas, who sent in the corner. They must have sketched that out on the sideline.

Forest look fully deserving of their place in the table. Going toe to toe here with Pool and not much between them.

A draw seems a fair result. Not a bad point.
In the last ten minutes plus stoppage time, Liverpool had their tails up but Forest were solid - especially Sels, Aina, and Williams, I thought - and dangerous on the counter.

Enjoyable contest.

I wonder if Spurs can pull out a performance in the North London Derby. Struggle against Tamworth turn up at the Emirates wouldn't be out of character for them.

Arsenal are pretty banged up too. Jesus is out indefinitely now.

No Saka, Jesus, White, Calafiore, Tomiyasu, or Nwaneri.
Obviously not all of these are as important, but I don’t get how the attack hangs together. Havertz had started to perform as a 9 but that was with Saka creating and pulling defenses out of shape. Jesus is better able imo to function up top alone and feed on scraps without as much support but now he’s out. There’s still more attacking talent than most sides but it’s not an ideal setup.

It's a cliche to describe a great fake as "breaking the defender's ankles," but that really might just have happened to Pedro Porro.

I reckon Spurs need to get Maddison on, he can take the ball in tight situations and not cough it up as much as some of these Spurs players. They need an out ball as well cos playing out from the back against the Arsenal press is not working. Not sure if Richarlison can replace Son on the left, but you might get more energy (more pressing) out of him.

Maddison and Johnson on for Sarr and Bissouma.
This moves Kulusevski inside and drops Bergvall into the 6 role. It's essentially a 4-1-2-3 with two #10s. A very attacking lineup. But Sarr and Bissouma were giving them neither passing nor ball recovery, so might as well go for it.

Trossard with a swiiiing ... and a miss. He looked like he was chasing a 1999 Pedro changeup there, huge whiff.

Diallo trying to carry United across the finish line of this one. Two goals in 8 minutes, the second of which off an inch-perfect chip from Eriksen.

Edit: And he nets a third off of careless defending. Unbelievable.
