My eyes tell me that Jaylen has been one of the best 3-4 players over the last month or so.
I'm not sure why he's being treated like this in rotations. I'm honestly impressed with his character, in that most guys in his spot would have complained to the media by now.

If the Lakers still had Russell, how much more scared would you be of them pulling off a Davis trade before the deadline?

Reminds me of the Avery Bradley extension. People squawked that it was an overpay, and it turned into a bargain almost instantly.
Yeah, we always assume that contract years will incentivize players, but in other professions we know that some people perform better when they feel secure. Why wouldn't that be the case with some athletes too, yeah?

Interesting point. Look what it's doing to Rozier, for instance. He's killing his own value in his futile attempt to chase empty numbers.

How much better is Jaylen's handle now than when he was a rookie? He grabs a rebound in traffic, pushes it up with defenders all around him, and takes it to the rim.

Now the finishing, that's this off-season's goal.

It occurs to me that being able to tell the difference ahead of time would be a huge market inefficiency if one or two teams figured out how to do it first.

And if anyone could figure that out, I'd bet on Ainge here.

Not saying it's happened. But it'd be cool.

If you had Marcus Smart and Aron Baynes as the halftime scoring leaders, kudos. +/- leaders are Tatum with +17 and everyone's favorite C's whipping boy (after Hayward) at +11

I'd guess Zarren had Smart pegged last year as the kind of player who does better with security.
